We were there first week of June 2011.Thought the price was good until we checked in.Alot of hidden charges,Had to pay to have phone turned on.Had to pay to park our car or anyone else that came to see us.Had to pay to use the wi-fi.The rooms were in very bad shape very old and the balcony stay off very bad condition.No water pressure in the bathroom and the worst thing was the freinds that came out at night to play.Yes roaches all in the kitchen.Wish I read this first.Live and learn.

Sure its not luxury by any means but my wife and 2 young sons stayed here this past weekend and had a great time. Our room was on the 10th floor had an awesome view and was very clean. There was no smell, no bugs, the sheets were clean, the beds reasonably comfortable and the walls were not peeling. The bathroom was very clean. The staff was courteous but we only had limited interaction since we had no problems. The complimentary continental breakfast left a little to be desired but it was free so I'm not complaining. The pool was also very nice and clean. Overall it could use some updating and clearly the customers are not high class, but what more would expect for $64 during (or near peak) season with an OCEAN FRONT view?

I tried not to let the bad reviews on this place get me down, I wanted to see it for myself. The location was perfect and the price seemed reasonable, so I went for it anyway. Bad idea. The staff was rude and unfriendly and our room wasn't cleaned during our stay. The hotel itself is an old, salty beachfront place so I didn't expect too much in the way of cleanliness or the general up-keep of the hotel. Jacuzzi was small, dirty and cold. Paid way more than this place was worth.

OMG! This place was so nasty! The room we got had black mold around the windows big chunks of cement was missing on the balcony and the AC was rusted and smelled very nasty we went to CVS and got some Lysol to spray the room. the carpet was stained and very gross! We tried to check out but they would not give us our money back or give us a diffrent room cause they said the room was already assigned to us and they couldn't change it because we booked through Hotels.com which I will NEVER book with again. If your going to Daytona your best bet would be just wait till you get there and get your room cause that way you can ask to see the room before you check in and if it's nasty like this this place was at least you can just walk out and go to a different hotel.
