I tried not to let the bad reviews on this place get me down, I wanted to see it for myself. The location was perfect and the price seemed reasonable, so I went for it anyway. Bad idea. The staff was rude and unfriendly and our room wasn't cleaned during our stay. The hotel itself is an old, salty beachfront place so I didn't expect too much in the way of cleanliness or the general up-keep of the hotel. Jacuzzi was small, dirty and cold. Paid way more than this place was worth.

OMG! This place was so nasty! The room we got had black mold around the windows big chunks of cement was missing on the balcony and the AC was rusted and smelled very nasty we went to CVS and got some Lysol to spray the room. the carpet was stained and very gross! We tried to check out but they would not give us our money back or give us a diffrent room cause they said the room was already assigned to us and they couldn't change it because we booked through Hotels.com which I will NEVER book with again. If your going to Daytona your best bet would be just wait till you get there and get your room cause that way you can ask to see the room before you check in and if it's nasty like this this place was at least you can just walk out and go to a different hotel.

stayed memorial weekend 2011- The hotel was okay-not a 5 star but for the money , I thought it was okay. The check in staff was questionable... ONE was friendly the rest were rude, sarcastic & not helpful at all. Definately needs work on the staffing. The grounds people & maintance workers & maid staff very nice & helpful-- so ignor the front staff & you'll have a great stay. the Rooms were ok but this is an older hotel.

This hotel is a hell hole. I read the reviews, but did not believe them. Housekeeping never came. We had a broken toilet that they never came to fix, we had to use the one in the lobby. The rooms were dirty. Found long black hairs on the bathroom towels, and in the bedding. Old and smelly, just like the rude staff
