Just got back. Read other folks' reviews and I've got to say that you people are really wound up in your cars. Parking is tight at many properties on the beach. Some of Perry's parking is certainly odd with their little garages. I think on holiday weekends they have a 1 car per room policy with additional cars per room required to park across the street in the overflow parking. I'm sure you'll manage. If you're there to hit the beach, then you won't be moving your car much anyway. Many families take advantage of the in-room kitchens and patio grills, leaving the property to get more groceries. We just walked across the street to get our munchies at the grocery, but then we only stayed the weekend. We saw lots of coolers and picnics going on in the patio area. Burgers on the grills smelled good. We ordered pizza and had it delivered near the pool area. Those pizza delivery folks were busy Saturday night, but we got our Stavros pizza in 20 minutes. They are just a block away.
Several other reviews commented on the great staff. They have a lot of staff and they were all so nice and working hard. They even have people doing activities for kids, games, bingo, etc. My kids loved the shuffleboard.
Note that you can get a gate key for beach access to use before you check in if your room isn't ready yet. It's great to head straight to the hotel in the morning and enjoy the beach for the day even before getting into your room.
