“Over priced!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013 via mobile

I was really excited to stay here after I looked at their website. I was wrong!! The carpets were stained, the bathroom was extremely small, the maintaince man had to come to our room twice in the first hour. The tv and iPod dock wouldn't work and the cabinet door to the fridge fell off. The decor was terrible. The beds were really small. The tub didnt drain and the toilet didnt flush well. We checked out and stayed up the road in hotel with balcony, free breakfast, microwave in room, and much more updated for half the price!!!

I went on business but added a few extra days for a mini vacation . An oceanfront room was requested at booking. Upon arrival the room we were given was not ocean front and only had a window to the street. I called the front desk and was told that the hotel was sold out and we could not be moved. We went to the desk and after the clerk looked up my original reservation, we were given an ocean front room. We went to the room and to our surprise, someone was in the room sleeping. Another trip to the desk. We were given another room which was ocean front. So much for being sold out....

The room and the hotel were clean. The pool facilities were nice. The pool area had a tiki bar and an ocean front restaurant . The meeting rooms on the roof top level all have great views of the beach and the inter-coastal . The food service was good.

Room Tip: Make sure your room is ocean front with balcony. Rooms on Floor 1 have a patio to the pool deck. C...

Positives:
1. Atmosphere-very clean and comfortable rooms. The shower was awesome and so were the pillows!
2. Friendly staff!
3. Pool area is very nice, but crowded at Spring Break.
4. Beach area is beautiful! Renting chairs and an umbrella for 30 bucks a day. It puts you closer to people on the beach, but really comfy!
Negatives:
1. Extra charges for everything.
2. No coffee in the rooms. They ran out? Weird.
3. Parking is a bit pricey and inconvenient.
4. Far away from a Starbucks.
5. Dogs are allowed. There was a barking one near us that we could hear from our room. Annoying.

I would stay here again. I may look for a less expensive place. A free breakfast would be nice.

Room Tip: Choose a balcony room facing the ocean.

We had booked this "resort and spa" based on reviews and pictures depicted on the Internet.
What a disappointment(except for the front desk staff) ..they were friendly and helpful as could be! But the reservation was inaccurate, the room was extremely small, the furniture dated along with lack of decor. The pullout couch was circa 1950 (lumpy and terribly uncomfortable). The outdoor furniture had mildew on it, the patio was unkempt, the coffee cups in the room were filthy ( someone else's coffee residue and marks on it! YUK!)
Overall this room was certainly NOT worth the 300$ a night which we charged! We had a 3 day reservation.....we immediately checked out and went down the street next day!
Don't waste your money!

I spent several days at this resort over Easter 2013, and I can't say enough about how wonderful it was! I had a room on an upper floor on the back of the hotel, looking West, with a balcony. This is a great way to save on costs. The room was fantastic, with an extremely comfortable bed. The staff is professional and courteous, and the bar and restaurant are top notch. The pool was so relaixng, with music playing outside. You could walk right down onto the beach. Landscaping with palm trees was beautiful. The overall atsmophere was tropical and fun. We enjoyed eating dinner outside, with a view of the ocean. Aaaahhhh paradise! Would highly recommend :)

Room Tip: The rooms with balcony on the oceanside looked beautiful, and the ground level ocean front rooms wou...

We booked into this resort expecting something special. Not a chance. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady who took our car keys and directed us to the check-in. There was a large group of people smoking outside under the front canopy which was rather upsetting for a spa feel. We proceeded to check-in and were told that the room we reserved was not available as they had overbooked, but had a room that was similar on the ground floor beside the pool. They offered us a slight decrease in rate or a spa credit. We took the rate reduction which was not nearly enough. The room was over $300. per nite. The room was supposed to be for 3 people but could barely hold two. There was no place to put our luggage, no closet space, the room was mismatched and very unpleasant in decor. Cramped was to say the least. The outdoor furniture outside our room was dirty and had old towels laying on it. The bathroom had a moth flying around in it and when you used the shower a flood occurred outside the shower door. We went outside to view the beach and noticed that the outdoor area had been set up with white table cloths for a large gathering. It looked very pretty. However, it was quite windy and one of the table cloths had blown off the table on to the ground. Some staff members were out in the area and instead of putting the cloth back on the table, they just walked over it and left it on the ground. I guess it just wasn't their job.???? We decided that we would only stay one night and packed up early the next day and found a hotel room that was larger, cleaner, half the price, and included breakfast and a manger's happy hour / nightly reception. It wasn't what we had expected and would not recommend this property.

Room Tip: It needs a lot of updating, a really good clean and some interior decorating as it is not spa like a...

We stopped by this enchanting hotel for Easter brunch buffet.
Atmosphere: 5 star atmosphere with top notch valet service. Prompt and organized
Food: A wide array of pastries, meats (lobster stuffed flounder, lamb, pork tenderloin), omelette station, salads, charcuterie, and oh so many desserts. The food was spectacular except for the pastries which were a bit stale/dry.
Overall excellent.
