It may have only been for a one nighter but we were more than happy with everything. Definitely will stay here again. The room was huge and right out over the ocean. The staff was courteous and friendly, the grab and go breakfast was just what we wanted, not in the middle of all the action in Daytona but that is how we like it.

Was just here last week & miss it already. We were impressed the minute we walked in the lobby & the room because of the clean, fresh smell which is throughout the entire hotel. Every single person we came in contact with from front desk to the breakfast lady to the maintenance guys were so friendly & helpful. When we walked in room we were immediately impressed with how nice & clean it was & when I opened the door to balcony & saw the ocean view I couldn't breathe it was so amazing! Breakfast was nice after our morning walk at sunrise. Our son loved the fresh cookies every day too! Can't wait to go back!!!

My husband and myself were there from 08/13/2013-08/17/2013. Had no problems. Jody and Jane at the front desk were awesome and helped us out with transportation and restaurant questions. We flew in and decided to save money and not rent a car since we didn't plan on sight seeing, just hanging at the beach. We took a cab the first nite and thought it was a little pricey then were told to take the trolley or public transportation which is just $1.00 one way!!! So much cheaper than a cab!! There are pick-ups right in front of the hotel which run every 15 minutes before and after each hour. We were on the 7th floor with ocean front and it was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and the air conditioner worked fine. Some motels we have stayed in, have the thermostat set on 74 and you couldn't adjust them---but that is NOT the case here--we kept ours on 70 and the room stayed cool all day and nite. The happy hour was great and the my drink was NOT watered down like someone had put on an earlier post. Yes you do need to get down there a little early if you want to get a table, but my husband and myself preferred to take our drinks and sit outside watching the ocean. No problems with ANYTHING---except not alot of restaurants within walking distance.I would probably stay closer to the Boardwalk next time just because there is more night life down there, but if your not interested in that, then this is the best place to stay!

Free Parking ! Good value & we had a HUGE room overlooking the pool & ocean. Clean room. Breakfast included but lackluster. Friendly staff & laundry facilities were appreciated. Also "happy hour" was free. Would be great for large groups & again, very reasonable prices.

Room Tip: Double room w/ pull out sofa & oceanfront

I can't say enough about the cleanlness and the wonderful views. The staff was great and every request was fulfilled promptly and with a smile. I want to tip my hat to the managers and staff for a great job!!! I will be back with the bride again and again. Thanks

Very nice, family oriented hotel right on the daytona beach and the Atlantic ocean. Prices are very reasonable. We stayed for a whole week and paid right at $1000 for the week. Not bad. There isn't a restaurant or lounge on site. Didn't never find any laundry facilities either nor a fitness center or a business/computer center. They do have a continental breakfast every morning from 7:30-9:30am, which consists of coffee, juice, water or milk, pastries, cereal, toast,..not a hot breakfast, just something that you can grab -n- go. Also, they have a Happy Hour every afternoon from 5:30-6:30pm where they serve alcoholic drinks (or non-alcoholic) and snacks such as pretzels, peanuts or freshly popped popcorn, (which you can smell all over the place when it's popping!). The lady tending bar may not know what will go in some drinks, but look out for the Manhatten!! She will load it up!!!
All in all, it was a nice place to stay, just wasn't around none of the restaurants, stores or entertainment areas of Daytona Beach. We were here with some friends and this is where they normally stay at, so we stayed here too with them. If you're looking for entertainment and a wide variety of things to do while you're visiting the beach, stay up around the Boardwalk, The Hilton, Oceans Plaza Resort, etc..... Oh, and make sure you eat at Joe's Crab Shack and Riptides!!

Room Tip: Stay on the 10th floor! Beautiful views!!

We have been coming to the Bahama House for our annual Family Get-together for several years, including this year for three days at the end of July, and there is no better welcoming place on Daytona Beach. We usually take three rooms and have never been disappointed. They are always clean with comfortable beds. The whole family, especially the grandchildren insist on the Bahama House and for good reason. The location on the beach, the well kept pool area, the complimentary breakfast, and the free drinks and popcorn during the daily happy hour, and the friendly staff make this the ideal place for our annual family gathering. Book early though. The Bahama House fills up fast! We'll be there again next year, God willing.
