Ate here on a Saturday evening. Went for a nice Italian dinner. We were seated at a table with a sticky plastic table cloth and only silverware for one. We had to wait till after the salad to even get the forks. Service was slow and slightly rude. Poor wine selection. Ordered Veal Scallopini it was covered in grease and was very chewy. To top it off the meals were overpriced. Please do not waste your time or money here!

The food and and atmosphere are terrific at Porto-Fino's. The only improvement or suggestion I would have for them is, this is the only Italian resturant I have eaten at that garlic bread or garlic rolls are not included in your order. This has to be ordered seperate. We go there at least once during our yearly visit to Daytona Beach and love their food. I have never had a bad meal or service here.

We ate at Porto Fino again during our annual trip to Daytona Beach for the 500. We always go to Porto Fino and we are always very, very pleased. We love everything there from the salads with homemade italian dressing, the chicken parm, the tiramisu. The restaurant is family friendly and my older son really likes that they have more adult-type food on the children's menu - such as smaller portions of ravioli and fried shrimp. The pizza IMO is the best in the Daytona Beach area. The small pizza is also a great child's meal, with some to take home.

Please note that the decor probably hasn't changed since they opened, I'm guessing mid-late 70's. To us that is part of the charm. If that bothers you, then don't go. Otherwise, it is clean, staff is very friendly (and they seem to be the same waitresses every year, probably since they opened) and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I can't wait to visit again next year. Truly a local gem.
