We stayed in the owner's North tower, a 3 bedroom deluxe from Sept 28-Oct 05.
This resort is a 4 out of 5 except for one issue explained below that in my opinion dropped their score to 3 out of 5.
Check in: Arrived at the resort after 6:00pm. No problem checking in, although we were directed to the timeshare desk before we could go to our room. They were not pushy and advised of a free lunch or breakfast with an update. That is code for we are going to try to sell you more timeshare. I did what I always do, and said I'll think about it. Through the week they slipped a few reminders under the door, and called once. I declined and they did not push any further.
Room: The kitchen was well stocked with up to date appliances. Dining furniture was nice. The master bedroom had a large walk in shower with a 2 person Jacuzzi tub. King size bed with a flat screen TV. We were very pleased with the master bedroom. The other 2 bedrooms were also nice, and there was another bathroom beside them. The only part of the unit that desperately needs improvement was the living room furniture. Nice flat screen TV with HD channels, but I didn't want to sit on the worn, dirty, smelly couch or chairs. I mean, really stained worn and smelly to the point I would not sit on them. Very disappointed that they would not improve this area. As it makes the room a 3 out of 5 because of the living room. The view was amazing, we were ocean front.
Resort: The pool area was very nice. 2 large pools with a lazy river in between, several Jacuzzis, a water slide on the south tower pool. There was also an outdoor bar with TV's and a simply menu. Since we were there during off season, there was never an issue getting chairs for 4 people together any time of the day. If there was any complaint, it would have been nice to have an adult pool. sometimes you just want to relax away from the screaming and splashing. There were also indoor pools we did not use. The towels were readily available for the pool or beach. There was also a restaurant, but we did not eat there to advise on the food or quality. Lobby area also very nice. The resort had a key card gate to the beach and boardwalk. There was no shortage of places to eat within walking distance and the pier with The Roof and Jakes Crab was about 1/2 hour stroll along the boardwalk.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and if the resort did something about the living room furniture it would have been rated a solid 4 out of 5. I just can't do that when I couldn't enjoy the living room area. Too bad, as it is not an enormous expense to elevate this resort into the next category.
