Our stay at Ocean Walk Daytona was overall good. I mostly enjoyed the pool area. They had a child pool area which had waterfalls, mini slide, shooting out of water, and basic 2 ft pool. Then another regular pool, a lazy river, and a pool with a water slide. The water slide pool was my daughters favorite. The rooms were good -- could be better. The furniture was a little dingy and there were a lot of scuff marks on the walls. But our 3 bdrm was very roomy and had a great view of the pool/ocean.
The activities were great. We participated in a alot of them. My daughter has gotten spoiled with the 'build a bear' activity.
My biggest complaint is the member services. I was determined not to listen to the 45 min (so they claim but it is normally atleast 1 1/2 hour) car salesman pitch. And they called everyday (somestimes twice a day) to get us to come down and sign up. I'm so glad that we did not waste our time on this.
Second complaint is the elevators were a hassle. Only 4 each for the north and south towers. You had to wait on them because they were always full. Extremely poor desigh and planning for the elevators.
In addition, the workout facility was okay... A little dingy and dungeony. Would be nice if it could overlook the ocean/pool area.
And when will Wyndham get a clue and realize that you need to provide wireless internet in more areas than the lobby.
Overall it was a great stay in that my daughter enjoyed it...!!! Adult only families -- I would steer clear of this resort.
