“Well Worthwhile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

Fabulous food, impeccable service in a white tablecloth, quiet atmosphere. Not "stuffy" or overly formal, but a pleasant, civilized retreat. Lovely surroundings. I thought the food prices were reasonable, not shockingly high. I am a non-drinker, so have no idea on alcohol prices/selection. I'll go again when I'm next in the area.

“A charming place with good food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Daytona Beach is a wasteland in many ways--in general the restaurants go for quantity not quality, and the less said about the vulgarity of Atlantic Ave the better.
however, there are bright spots, and The Cellar is certainly the brightest spot I have found. Ihave visited a number of times and always been impressed. the latest visit did not disappoint. The crab and shrimp salads in avocado were fresh and the crab one was fill of chunks of crab. The scallopine with mushrooms was excellent (just a few more mushrooms, maybe?) the accompanying potatoes were hot and tasty.
Good wine can be had for a reasonable price. then there is the service--friendly and attentive. the building is historic and worth a few moments to inspect.
So for that great dinner in Daytona beach , away form the hustle of the beach front, go to the cellar--you will not be disappointed.

“The overall experience was incredible.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013 via mobile

When I recently visited the cellar restaurant I was absolutely blown away by the overall experience. The food outstanding. The wine list was clearly carefully put together and left nothing to be desired. The staff were friendly, helpful and had an excellent knowledge of the menu. I found both the interior and exterior of the restaurant To be quite charming and very reminiscent of something I would find in Europe. Absolutely a must!

“Best in Daytona Beach Area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

The Cellar is a destination place for anyone wishing to enjoy first class dining at reasonable rates. Lena, knows her wines, highlighting great values for hard to find wines. The food is excellent and very consistent. From Lamb Shank, Roast Duck and Pheasant to several fish selections, the Chef creatively marries the vegetables, starch and sauces with a unique flair.

“Who knew going in a basement would be so good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

Love this restaurant. Our waiter was great and the food was fantastic!!! It was a little strange going into the "cellar" to eat, but the atmosphere was so quaint and cozy!
