Nice setting, good food but poor management. We waited 30 min for a simple 7 PM reservation. The place was backed up already and it seems this is a frequent problem. Waited over an hour for the entree . Glassware was not very clean. Two tables next to us sent back food and glasses. In talking with our excellent waiter, he indicated he is ready to quit after 7 years working there because the kitchen simply cannot get the food out in a reasonable time. Also there is poor communication with the kitchen in that he recently had a table wait 1 hour and 15 min only to find out that the kitchen had run out of fish.
The Chart House setting is very nice and maybe try it for lunch as it was dark when we sat down. For the money, you should expect more from the Chart House. It is hard to imagine that a national chain is so poorly run they cannot turn the tables over in a reasonable time which would increase their profits. They need a larger kitchen or mange the kitchen better as it appears that is their main problem.
