We have been loyal Ale House customers since the restaurant opened - unfortunately, the once great food and service has dissolved into the typical Daytona Beach eatery.
Took over an hour to get a burger and chicken sandwich. When we inquired about the order, we were told the delay was due to our order of an appetizer (six chicken tenders in a weak, watery sauce). Finally took the sandwiches to go when we couldn't wait any longer.
I called the manager (Doug) who apologized and did his best to make things right, but I don't want compensation as we won't be back - ever. The lack of empathy or explanation by the server created an "us v. them" mentality - it was our fault, not the restaurants.
Question - Why would we patronize the Ale House when there are literally hundreds of other similar options in the International Speedway Boulevard corridor?
