I signed up to choice hotels member thingy and got a great rate. 3 nights for 170 bucks. There was a seminar that was being held at the Hilton and I didn't want to pay the rates up there. The hotel has been recently remodeled and it is without a doubt the best Econo Lodge you will find. The check in was easy. I believe her name to be Janette, British lady. It got full over the weekends but they had parking across the street. Becky, the manager, was very nice. I hope I didn't get the names mixed up. Anyway, it looked like an older hotel with the ac units on the outside and maybe just some new paint but the rooms were almost new looking. It had very nice furnishings and was cleaned well every day of my stay. I grabbed a coffee each morning. They offered some toast and muffins. It was close to the pier and Daytona activities. However, Daytona wasn't too nice. It is a lot more run down then I thought it would be. If you are looking for a cheap and clean place to stay, Econo Lodge is the place. No complaints whatsoever.

I had to stay over for a night in Daytona Beach for a meeting and based on prior reviews booked the Econo Lodge Oceanfront and was very glad I did. A very pleasant front desk agent upgraded my room to an ocean view as the rooms weren't fully booked. The room was spacious, the linens clean and servicable. The hotel is right on A1A and many shops and restaurants withing easy walking distance. Very good value at a great rate.

We stayed at the Econo Lodge for a week and were very pleased. The room was clean and staff was super friendly and accommodating. Staff was always busy cleaning and the place was spotless. The pool and spa was very nice and being right on the ocean was wonderful. Their breakfast included bagels, muffins, coffee and juice. We could grab a cup of coffee and walk on the beach first thing in the morning. We highly recommend Econolodge. The hotel was recently remodeled and an incredible deal for the price.

We were there for two days and found the hotel to appear to be newly remodeled and very clean. All the employees were very friendly and especially helpful. We were checked in by Ms. Scott, who was exceptional. The hotel had an excellent view of the ocean and was located directly on the beach. The bathroom was a little small and the parking lot was full some of the times but the rooms were an excellent value and well maintained and very clean. The breakfast was not as extensive as some but was adequate (we did see several people carrying out a lot of extra food that may have made it short for some people who came in later). We would stay there again.
