“Really cool, though once is enough.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

There is a museum with lots of history to check out, games to play, and a theater experience as well. You can also take a tour of the track. I've heard mixed reviews of the tour. Mine was great. We rode the tram out around the track and visited victory lane for pictures. We stopped and got an up-close view of the 31 degree banking around the track as well. Others apparently weren't as lucky and didn't have such a good time. Best thing I can suggest is to talk to the tour guides beforehand. Sometimes they can't go certain places because it seems there is always SOMETHING going on around the speedway.

I think it was a lot of fun and also a great learning experience. Little kids may not be as into it. It might seem like a museum to them after a while, though your experience may vary. Older kids into teens would probably dig it a little more.

I will say this though - one visit is probably enough. We have gone multiple times and not much changed over the years. The biggest difference is whose car is on display as the most recent Daytona 500 winner. So unless you are REALLY into NASCAR history, one visit will probably satisfy you.

“Daytona Speedweeks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

saturday Feb 16th at the track was an awesome experience. They keep the grounds clean and I love the fact that you can bring in your own food and drinks to save on some costs. No hard coolers or glass though so be careful.

“LOVED IT!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Birthday gift for my husband and he really, really enjoyed it. Had a wait a few hours for the track to dry properly (rain the previous evening), but the crew managed to keep us entertained while we waited. Hubby is still raving about it - best birthday gift ever!

“Tour is ok”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

We took the $16 tour but was a waste. It is advertised that you go on the track but tour guide stopped for about 5 minutes so we could stare over the wall.... You can see the same thing from the gift shop.

“Racing Fans Dream”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

If you love Nascar this is a fun place to go. The track tour is cool and gives you a feel of being a racer on the track during a race. Hard to believe how steep the curves bank on the track. You learn a lot about racing history, get to get out and stand on victory lane (picture moment), and the tour guides are funny and informative. If you really want to feel like a race car driver try the Richard Petty Driving Experience! We went when it was Daytona USA and the indoor experience was open. It appears to be closed now. There are 3 different tours to choose from now. We did the basic track tour. This is not a tourist trap it is all about the history of NASCAR.
