I really enjoyed my stay, and can't wait to go back and visit again. Although it is an older place with some problems here and there, my friend and i found it to be a great place. On our 2nd day there we had a problem with our key not wanting to work the staff was friendly and very quick to respond to our needs. I loved the fact that it was so close to everything in town. I would recomend this place to everyone i know.

This hotel is old and filthy. Even though it is old, that is no excuse for the filth. Ice machine you have to pay for but broken. One of the elevators down 1 day. One of the entrance doors broken 1day. I watched one of the staff vacuum the carpet in the hallway. When I returned a few hours later piece of plastic still there, untouched, barely vacuumed around it. Elevators slow, VERY dirty. Would never walk anywhere barefoot. First room I said no to as you could barely get door to balcony open and hole in wall next to A/C unit that led to the outside. Who knows how many bugs come through that. Room I ended up in had no holes and slightly cleaner but carpet was way beyond needing replacing. So worn it wasn't soft anymore so had to make sure I wore shoes at all times. Room deadbolt would not lock so no extra lock while in room, anyone could use a room key to enter. Best of all, upon checking out, made trip to car to start loading it up. When I came back to room, knocked so my son would let me in. When he didn't respond right away I looked through peep hole and I could see him walking in room towards the door. Can't see out of peephole when in the room but people in hallway can look into the room and see you. Isn't that a nice feeling!!!! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is in a great location. Close enough to the Boardwalk, but no too close. We stayed during Spring Break '07. Many renovations are in progress. The Bar/Restaurant was closed...that was disappointing. Our room had a fabulous view(ocean view suite). The room itself was very spacious...the pullout sofa was not usable though. The staff was helpful and supplied us with a rollaway bed.One of the elevators was malfuctioning ,we did not know this until I got stuck in it. The staff was quick to get me out. We booked through the hotel website and received a military discount ...approx. 10%. We will definately stay here again. Even with the issues the hotel has...we got what we paid for. A decent room for a decent price.

This hotel is crap!! Who renovates during spring break? Elevators out of order, water being cut off, the tiki bar was closed. We knew of none of this until we got to the hotel to check in. Don't stay here, its ridiculous.
