Nice park with lighthouse.. Kids enjoyed the play area and the museum is good. Climb to top is over 200 steps
On our annual trips to Florida we always go to Ponce Inlet to see the beautiful red lighthouse and eat at the restaurant near the water. If you've never tried alligator bites, go ahead, they are especially good with the berry dip! Watch the many Floriday pelicans and herons come visit while you eat and of course fresh oysters are available any time. Give it a try!
I went there with my 2 year child a couple days ago. The grounds were kept very clean and well manicured. The museums were clean. The lighthouse was pretty cool but with a 2 year old we didnt make it to the top :-/ but there was a play ground just outside the lighthouse ground which was cool. FYI 2 year old get in FREE!
Great place to visit. It's only $5 a real bargain. The building were well kept and climbing the lighthouse is fun.
Very well preserved historical site with many outbuildings to tour. Great view from the top of the lighthouse!
