Great weekend get away.
Decided not to stay with the big chains and came upon this hotel on Trip Advisor.
Only able to stay one night, but if schedule was open would have stayed longer.
Sarah took my reservation and greeted me at the desk when we arrived (great representative for the property). The hotel decor was tropical "retro" - in a good way. My wife and I loved it. We travelled with our two teenage sons who enjoyed the beachfront access and pool.

We stayed in a two bedroom oceanfront efficiency (room 45) that had ample room and two porches overlooking the ocean and pool. The room was clean and the kitchenette was well equipped with plates, cups, etc... Need to bring your own coffee and extras (but there is a coffee maker).

The hotel has several scheduled activities and we met families that had been coming to this hotel for years. It's about 2-3 miles to the main boardwalk (that's not what we came for).

Everyone on the staff we met, went out of there way to make our experience enjoyable. We would definetly come back again.

Had a great stay with the wife & 5 boys this weekend. Trust me when I say there is nothing like the Beach House at Tropical Manor. From the Flamingo with shades & a sombero that greets you, to the bright pink "brady bunch" shag carpet, it is truly one of a kind. The beach house is perfect because you are right next to the beach, pool, shuffle board, etc. but it has a very private feel with it's own driveway & patio with an awesome view. The room was very clean & fully stocked except for paper products & salt & pepper. So, bring your own paper plates, napkins, & maybe a roll of softer tp.........just saying. :) The staff was very pleasant & helpful. All in all, we had a wonderful time & plan on returning soon. I've stayed at a lot of places all over the world and have not experienced a better place to play.e ocean.The staff go out of their way to make sure you feel at home. Each and every room has a view of the ocean no matter the location. It is easy to walk to restaurants, shops and of course the beach. I will be back to visit for many years to come.

I've been coming here w my family every year since I was 9. I'm going to be 32 and am now bringing my kids. The walk to the beach is short and it's so peaceful and quiet here . The room we like the best is 42 and it's ocean front 2 bedroom . It's a nice quaint room but could use just some newer appliances, television and sofa. Aside from that it's still nice just getting dated. I'm a clean freak so I always check out cleanliness as soon as we check in. I did end up washing the blankets because they had syrup on them and hadn't been washed so that kinda sucked but the bathroom and kitchen were very clean. Normally the front desk people are friendly and helpful but I thi we caught her on a bad day because she was pretty short with us . We still love it here though and plan to continue coming.
