Its on the beach but so what, if you don't even want to get in the nasty mildew/moldy shower when you get back to your room!

Great location and view of Daytona Beach. The time waiting for the elevators was the on;y bad thing. This was our best vacation ever. The oceanfront room was great.

we stayed at the hotel biketoberfest 07. we were greeted with smiles from employees from the time we arrived. the following day we started off with a great buffet from Atlantic Jacks in the lobby. That evening we came back to a great bar-b-que and outside bar. way to go employees of Plaza ocean club we'll be back.

I stayed at this hotel from Mar 26 - 31 and have never been more disappointed about a hotel in my whole life. We had reserved an oceanview room with a wrap-around balcony, despite what the desk staff says. Our fault for not bringing the papers with the information. The hotel CHARGES for use of the room safe which is a first for me. I personally enjoyed returning to our room after being out all day and finding someone else's pubic hair all over the bathroom floor. How do we know it was someone else's? None of US had black hair. I'm also a huge fan of the washcloths they called pool towels. Thanks for allowing me to dry off with something that I wouldn't even use to dry my car. Another great feature was the bathroom which was just dark enough that you had to keep the shower curtain open in order to have adequate lighting. I also loved how when I took a shower, my eyes were burning and I began sneezing and coughing uncontrollably. The only good thing about the bathroom was the shower itself. Unlike most hotels, it had water pressure! However, there's a fine line between acceptable water pressure and having your skin beat off... On a lighter note, the pool is exceptional. I loved the warm temperature. The pool chairs are also great. They don't use those nasty plastic ones but have canvas lounge chairs. The location is what drew us to this hotel. Love how it's directly on the beach! The restaurant doesn't have much to choose from though nor does it have anything appealing. Never really saw anyone in there eating... wonder why? Parking was absolutely horrid. The hotel decided it was a good idea to do roof maintenance during spring break and in order to protect cars from falling debris, they just decided to block about 20 spaces. Yeah, I think I'll walk through the ghetto hoods to my car each night.... don't think so. NOT A GOOD/SMART IDEA!! I think that's all I have to say... You are all better off staying at a pube-free hotel that allows you to park on the property. Thanks for a [--------] week of hospitality! :)
