The Regal Palms Resort is a great home away from home. We just returned two days ago, and I had to write this review. We arrived about 1 a.m. in the morning, and were greeted as if it was 1 in the afternoon. Our reservations were ready and we were given instructions on how to get to our unit. When we arrived at our unit, everything was in place. The unit was clean and everything looked new. We didn't have any issues with anything being broken. We were extremely pleased, due to several bad reviews of the resort. Honestly, I am convinced that some people are too nit picky. Some people want cavier service on a beer budget. The key to being pleased with what you get, is to READ the website and have an open mind when doing so. We are definitely planning on returning next year.

I was very apprehensive about this booking after reading the negative reviews, and even spent some sleepless nights worrying about it, before we left, however, our experience was favorable.
My family of 7 stayed at a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath townhouse-booked through hotels.com-I wanted a refundable option. We had no trouble checking in and were able to do so earlier than 4:00. We discovered that our kitchen table was broken when we brought in the groceries and placed them on it. Maintenance responded several hours later....not a problem as we weren't using it. They took the table away, and returned it 2 days later. There is a dining room table with 6 chairs that we were using (used the extra chair from the kitchen). This was our only maintenance issue. We needed to use both the heat and a/c and both were fine.
The townhouse was neat and clean. I checked it carefully after reading some of the horrible reviews. The pool and lazy river were a lot of fun. My kids loved it. We even left Seaworld early one day to enjoy the pool.

I think people would pay a few dollars more a night to have a welcome package with dish soap, dishwasher detergent, kitchen towels, a sponge and potholders. Plan on buying these things or bring them with you if you are driving.
The beds were ok. I used the pillow from the couch as the one I had was too hard.
I heard the tour for the "free" money or discounted tickets is 3 hours long and all they do is lie to you about the timeshares they are selling. We don't do timeshare tours...not worth our time...we are on vacation and don't want to be bothered!!
The staff were friendly enough. I didn't really have any complaints, so they didn't need to respond.
This is getting too long for anyone to read...good value for the money...don't expect anything other than basic furnishings....it was really nice having a washer and dryer right in our condo....especially nice if you have kids....Enjoy!!

When my family and I first arrived at our unit, my 7month pregnant wife tripped over the broken/loose bricks they use for the sidewalk. I drove to the front desk, where I was totally ignored by the four (4) Regal Resort representatives. After getting their attention by mentioning a law suite, they immediately had maintenance respond and repair the problem. This morning when my wife awoke, she decided to wash a load of white clothes. When she removed the clothes from the washer to put in the dryer, to our dismay the white clothes were no longer white. The water upstairs is dark brown from rust or mud. I contacted the front desk to have maintenance come and repair the problem. I was greeted by attitude immediately from the front desk. This is my 2nd day here and if I could get my money back, it would be my last day!!!

  • Liked — The roof didn't leak.
  • Disliked — The brown water we had to shower and wash clothes in.

From Graham, Debbie, Callum & Charlotte, Dot & Alan

What a fantastic 3 bedroom house. My mother in law summed it up in just one word upon arrival “Wow”. This house really has the “wow” factor. Very comfortable downstairs and equally spacious upstairs. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms – it’s beautiful, and is one of the best properties I have ever seen as a vacation villa. The children (8 & 5) really loved the pool area, especially the flume and the lazy river. The resort is ideally located to Disney, just a short drive away
Simon Offord owns this beautiful and very well equipped villa and I cannot praise him high enough from the ease of booking to the condition of his property. I would thoroughly recommend him to anybody wanting to book directly. He is extremely honest and very informative about the area.
I have already recommended him to several friends of mine who are eager to sample the delights that we did.
This has got to be the place to stay at!
All that remains now is to book a return visit. Callum and Charlotte insist it has to be next year!

We have just returned from a vacation at the Regal Palms Resort and Spa. We didn't arrive at the resort until about 1:30 am but Justin at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I booked a three bedroom townhouse but we were given a four bedroom. When we entered the townhouse, I was pleasantly surprised after reading all of the negative reviews. The unit that we had was very clean, no bugs or stains on the carpets or bed linen. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed. The first bedroom which was located downstairs had a queen sized bed and a bathroom. The other three bedrooms were upstairs, the master bedroom had a king sized bed and a bathroom in it and their was also a balcony. The third and fourth bedrooms both had two twin beds in them. Their was also a bathroom in the hallway upstairs and downstairs. The washer and dryer was an added benefit. The pool was nice, my daughter wanted to go stay at the pool rather than go to disneyworld, if I only knew this before I bought the tickets. It only took about 15-20 minutes to get to disneyworld and their was a supermarket less than 5 minutes away. I loved this resort and would definetly go back.
