“Worth the money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Location to the airport and the cruise ship was convenient plus they offered a shuttle to both . We paid $79.00 including taxes for a November 8th stay. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and breakfast was above average. My only advice if you are staying overnite for a cruise. DO NOTget the prepaid shuttle that is offered by a sales rep sitting in their hotel. It is called Welcome Shuttle and not worth the $10.00 per person fee. We waited over 45 minutes at the port, after I called twice for pickup it could have been later. Look for alternative transportation to save you some grief and time.

driving to hotel on main street was a bit shady with run down buildings, etc. but when we were within a few blocks of the hotel things started to look up, hotel area very nice, with walgreens next door, and shopping center across the street with a publix supermarket, breakfast at the hotel was another story, sausage and boiled eggs as an entree, the eggs were out of one of those big buckets, nasty, other than that the stay was nice, hotel was clean and staff attentive and friendly, would stay here again, took less than 15 minutes to drive to the ft. lauderdale airport, a straight shot there about 4 miles.

We stayed here October 27th, 2012 for one night before a cruise. We will not stay here again. Sheets were dingy and looked stained, pillows were terrible, no volume. Halls had places were base boards were missing. This property is not taken care of. Pool looked so dirty wouldn't dare get in it. It is convenient to restuarants and grocery store. They just started charging for shuttle to cruise port, used to be free.

We experienced a mixup between the parent Choice Hotels and this local hotel, consequently my boyfriend was not allowed to check in for our reservation (even though I discussed this in advance with Choice Hotels and was assured that there would be no issue). I was trying to help resolve the issue, and the person working the front desk refused to speak with me on the phone. I contacted Choice Hotels to figure out a solution since I would be charged for the night even if no one ended up checking in for the reservation. 1 1/2 hours later they came up with a solution and he was allowed to check in. They are undergoing renovations, but that is no excuse for a moldy bathtub and a disgusting rubber bathmat that appeared to be from the 1970s. Get your act together, Sleep Inn, before you ruin anyone else's vacation.

The Sleep Inn, Ft. Lauerdale, was a perfect place for me to stay the night before my cruise vacation. They picked me up at the airport and then suggested places to eat and directed me to both groceriy stores an drug shops for things that I had forgot to bring with me for my cruise. The breakfast was adequate and well prepared. The room was well kept and clean and comfortable. The next morning trnasportation to the ship was fast and courteous. I would definetly stay here again. And, i am planning on doing so in Dec. 13, for my next cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale.

We stayed for 2 nights in room 219, last 2 nights of 8 weeks 28th/29th OCT, so we wanted to go home. Big rooms, clean, quiet location, but not much sundproofing from next door. Price was good and staff friendly. New carpets right through. Microwave that was handy to reheat the leftover Chinese (kept in the fridge) from night one (it's across the road). Beds were a bit hard for us .An OK hotel

Ok so I needed a place to stay close to the airport, in Fort lauderdale, florida, the sleep inn has a lot going for it,, it is undergoing remodeling, it is in a good location, the price is right, good ammenities, IE, fitness center, small pool, continental breakfast, the bad, cut on the airconditioner and you get that damp musty smell, cut on the heat, and it smells as if something is burning.I let management know, hope you all fare better, not a bad motel, but so close to being a really good one

Room Tip: make sure Air conditioner and heater are working properly,
