“Amazing Customer Service”

Sitting in the cafe...a customer ordered wrong...she had a lactose condition...yet blamed it on anything but herself and the waitstaff did as she demanded...wow...! So they prepared two meals for for because she is/was stupid and only charge her dumb*** for one. With a great attitude...I salute you. Hyatt Place!

The service staff is outstanding and helpful. The free breakfast was very good with several items to choose from. The greeting was complete; at check in we received in writing about how to access the Wi~fi and what time the breakfast was. I will return!

This hotel is very nice! The rooms are spacious, and are perfect for groups or families. Also, the decor is very modern and updated. The breakfast in the morning is wonderful. They have many hot items such as sausage, eggs, French toast, and potatoes. They also have a variety of pastries and juices. The hotel is located across the street from many other hotels, so the area is very safe and secure. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Ft. Lauderdale area, whether it be for a cruise or vacation!

we attended a wedding and we were so satisfied we chose this hyatt place. We arrived early we waited but its a comfortable place to wait. They let us grab some breakfast even if its close to closing. People were nice esp the kitchen staff. The manager were always working greeting guest helping with the dining making things in order. The location big plus. they have shuttle even to stores but its walking distance so you dont have to wait. I-95 was very easy access even Dania beach is 4 mi away. We will stay here again if our port of call is FLL. By the way bed and pillow was comfy. Shower is nice, fridge in room and overall nice stay.

We stayed here just one night after our cruise and it was very very clean. Great location and friendly staff! Love that there is a living area so we could just watch tv and relax! Sad I only needed one night.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

My wife and myself stayed over for 2 nights before flying out of FLL. We came up from the Keys and check in was 3:30. The staff said they would try to get us in sooner, but no luck. We had a car, so we just went on our way and killed a few hours down at the Dania Beach antique shops on Route 1. Based on my observations during the 2 days, early check in can be a problem, so don't plan on it.

The large room (almost a suite) we were given was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and there was a separate sitting/office area. By the way, if you can't figure out why the light over the sink won't turn on, check the main switch near the entry door, you have to get the light switches synched up to work. The AC was fine after we figured out that turning off auto would keep if from loudly cycling on and off. Thee was only a shower, not a bathtub. One odd detail in room 327 - you have to lift the toilet seat up to close the door without hitting it. Hopefully, other rooms don't have this problem.

The hotel room was reasonably priced and the rate included an OK breakfast. The offering isn't too fancy, but there is fruit, yogurt, eggs, cereal, danishes, etc to fill you up. If you get there at the wrong time, it is tough getting a seat. For dinner there are a number of restaurants nearby. In particular, there is a nice Ale House restaurant right down the road at the end of the plaza. Ignore the TV's and enjoy good food at a reasonable price.

On the morning of our flight it took just about 8 minutes to get to the airport, and only about another 25 minutes to return our rental car, shuttle to the airport and get through security.

Room Tip: The elevators talk. I don't know if they can be heard in the nearby rooms.

Hi Trave1er,

Thank you for choosing to stay with us on your recent trip to Fort Lauderdale. We appreciate the positive comments about our large almost suite type rooms. Please accept our apologies that early check in was not available when you arrived, but we hope you found something good at one of the area antique shops. We look forward to the chance to welcoming back on your next trip to South Florida.

This is a relatively new hotel and we've been staying here ever since it opened. The hotel is well located just off the I-95 and just across the street from Oakwood Shopping Plaza. The staff are always friendly and a great breakfast together with complimentary WI-FI & parking is included in the rate.

The rooms are superbly laid our, large and accommodate our family of five very well. My only advise is to get a room on the opposite side of the I-95 especially if you're a lite sleeper. It's not terribly noisy, but there are times when you hear some traffic noise.

We look forward to our next stay at this fine establishment.
