“Great chicken salad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

I had lunch there with friends. Service was great. Raspberry tea very good. The chicken salad was very good and the floating island dessert melted in your mouth. Yummy. Only drawback, they need more and better rest rooms. Only one for a bunch of ladies????

“No wonder Southern Living has included you!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013 via mobile

I have been dining here since they added the charming open kitchen restaurant decades ago. It is the best in town! The food is fresh, consistently delicious & beautifully served, with wine or beer if you like. My out of town guests love to come here. Amazing service, incredible desserts using local seasonal ingredients.Nothing beats it. Bonus: shop in an eclectic selection of women's "made in USA" clothing, accessories (Vera), children's toys & goodies, tasty gourmet food products, cool jewelry, cook books.... Too much to describe.

“A must in Dade City!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

After spending the morning at Giraffe Ranch, we were starving. We had been told about Lunch on Limoges, but it was already 2:15 and they close at 2:30. We decided to call and they were more than happy to hold a table for us before closing and boy are we glad they did!!

As soon as we stepped inside I knew we were in for a treat! It was like stepping back in time. Our hostess & waitress team were very nice and quick to get us refreshments. The Raspberry Tea was fantastic! They went over all the menu items on the mini blackboard, explaining in detail what was in each of them. I had the Day's Special, which I believe was called Pasta Venetian. It was shrimp, lump crab meat, mushrooms, snow peas and asparagus toss in angel hair pasta with a light cream sauce. It was out of this world!! My friends got the Pecan Crusted Grouper, Poached Salmon and Chicken Salad. Everyone loved their choices.

While we were already stuffed from the delicious muffins and lunch entrees, we couldn't pass up dessert. We ordered the Coconut cake with lemon curd filling, Kumquat Cake and Carrot Cake. They were spectacular! The Kumquat Cake was made with candied kumquats and walnuts--just delicious!

The attention to detail and customer service is overwhelmingly noticeable. Everything is very clean and dainty. The owners Phil & Skip also came over to greet us and make sure everything was to our liking throughout our meal.

If you ever find yourself in Dade City, Lunch on Limoges is a MUST! I will definitely be back!

“What a Delight!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

It was like stepping back in time to an elegant era. Upon entry, we were greeted by a hostess wearing a crisp knee length frilly white bib apron. The decor is from years ago (on purpose and the tables are part of a very nice store selling ladies clothing and accessories, stationary, fancy napkins & a little bit of a lot more things.

The food for lunch was outstanding, as was the service. A limited menu is available but the lunch entrees are very imaginative. Eating here makes one think everything is right in the world.

“Elegant and delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

This gem of a restaurant is located in historic downtown Dade City. This restaurant is located in the same space as Williams Fashion Center, allowing diners to shop and then eat all in one location. I would recommend making reservations here as it is very difficult to get a seat otherwise. Their menu changes daily and is presented to each table individually on their hand written chalkboard. The soups, sandwiches and desserts are all delicious, with the menu changing based on the season and what is available. A favorite menu item which is usally on the menu is the Pecan Chicken; a delicious chicken breast that is dipped in pecan flour, sauteed, and then finished in the oven with a pecan and butter sauce and toasted pecans. DELICIOUS!! You must try to leave room for dessert, even if you have to take part of your meal home. The pies and cakes are HUGE and are as mouthwateringly delicious as they are big. You will never be disappointed in any menu item, but most of all, dessert.
The waitstaff here are always friendly and attentive, with many being employeed for years and years. They're all very hardworking which will be evident by the care given to each guest.
I have to say that part of me didn't want to review Lunch on Limoges, simply out of selfishness. It is hard enough to get a reservation here, without telling people how good it is and risking more diners scooping up what reservations are available!
