Lake Jovita provides 36 beautiful holes of golf and the north and south courses provide different experiences. One is neat and trim, like a country club, while the other plays a bit wilder, with tall fescue providing more of the backdrop than flowers. Both courses are excellent, well-maintained, fair, and fun.
On several visits (we go back each year), service has generally been friendly, although we've had a couple of issues inside the pro shop. Still, we do go back every year as a part of an annual trip to the Tampa area.
A quick bite to eat is available at the turn at an outdoor snack bar, or you can go inside the clubhouse and have a full meal before/after your round.
There are some houses around the course, but they never really come into play.
