My hunny & I have tried this place a couple times, once from water, once land lubbers...

Both times fare was "ehh" at BEST & service was terrible.

Too pretty an area to go again.

Looking elsewhere.......

I have visited Crackers a few times over the years and always came back for the view and atmosphere at the outdoor tiki bar. Since moving to the North Georgia mountains 2 years ago, I had not visited Crackers in a while. Our party of 10 was seated quickly at lunchtime on a Wednesday afternoon, as we sat outside due to our large party size. The wait staff was busy, but our server Angie, was able to get us drinks and menus fairly quick. The food was delivered in about 20 minutes except for one of our party who had to wait another 15 minutes as the kitchen left out his order. The platters were huge and overflowing with food. I had the oyster burger and although I was impressed by the size, the food was bland and needed more seasoning. The whole table felt the same way, as alot of food was tasteless.

One other note that was worthy was that the servers smoke area was right in front of the outdoor dining area. Very unprofessional and really ruined our meal by having to smell the cigarette smoke. The owners need to address this issue as to not offend more diners in the future.

My friend raved about this place so we opted to go here instead of Charlies which is where we usually go. We didn't have to wait and were seated immediately. BUT had to wait a while for a server to come and take our drink orders and waited even longer for her to bring our drinks. It also took a while for the food to come. I'm not sure what my friend had ordered there before that she thought was so good but none of us were satisfied with our food. It was not awful but barely average. I have only been here the one time so i will give them the benefit of the doubt and say maybe they were just having an off night. But i will not be going back to find out.
