This is sn historical landmark and a lodge from the times of Hearst Castle not quite as elegant but oh so grande. Boat tours around the ancient springs and river tour guided 365 days a year. This place is truly my absolute favourite!

We read the reviews as we normally do before booking a Hotel and they were right about this one!! We have found some BW to be below Standard.....but this one met our needs and we definitely would stay again if in the area very clean and rooms are nice...TV a bit dated but overall good value for money..the breakfast is not bad but a little slow on one day of our stay replenishing some of the items! We stayed for 3 nights while sight seeing in the area.....The only thing we found was the eating out choices are very limited in Crawfordville and a bit of a challenge to find a decent restaurant...that was our findings but the choices may be OK for some?
If you thinking about visiting the Crawfordville area we would definitely recommend this Best Western Plus Hotel.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a Best Western experience. I booked this hotel because it was close to Wakulla Springs State Park. I don't have one negative thing to say about this hotel. The person that checked me in at the front desk was courteous and seemed to actually like his job. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and comfortable. The bedspread doesn't look like the unattractive and dated one shown in the photos provided. The breakfast bar provided more options than I thought it would and the area was kept clean and stocked. My sleep was restful and my son and I weren't awakened by any other guests in the night. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Stay here 1-2 weeks a year since it opened. A little more than some of the other local hotels but the quality far exceeds there's. Owner lives on site and is very particular about the cleanliness of property, while 4 years old feels, smells and looks much newer. Rooms are oversized, some are suites, all have small fridge and microwave. They have a nice pool, but no outside jacuzzi, although some rooms have.

The design is great and secure, it has a central secure courtyard with a walkway and very nice gazebo to sit under. The doors open to courtyard, the windows to the outside. I only have stayed on 2nd floor but believe the floors are concrete so noise shoudn't be an issue. This is a very nice quiet place in a great fishing area, near Shell Point, Wakulla Springs State Park, Panacea, St. Marks, Alligator Point. There are good restaurants within 10 miles and a Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. in Crawfordville. Don't expect lots of chain restaurants, enjoy the local owned fish places and eat at the chains on the road or back home. Breakfast is above average, with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, 2 fresh fruit, juice, waffles, etc. Don't expect Wolfgang Puck, but better than most breakfast included in room prices. No complaints and look forward to my next stay.

Room Tip: I prefer 2nd floor middle on North end and West end. The South and East look onto parking lot. The...
