We were 8 people at the biltmore for 4 nights. We did hope the Christmas diner would be great, but it has been disappointing ! First, the ambiance was very cold : except a wonderful Christmas tree nothing was made to transform this evening in a party evening. The food was good. But the service was awful : 1. We were asked to hurry up with the white wine (60€), just before the main course because the kitchen was closing (10h00pm)... Ok, we can understand everybody wants to het back home to have Christmas eve, but we are talking about 95$/person ! 2.The main courses arrived cold because the plates were not heated as they should have been before dressing. 3. One kid (12yo) did not like the dessert of the main menu but the waitress refuses to Switch to the dessert of the kid menu (Apple pie, served at our table for another kid) 4.The waitress broken a glass and did not clean the big glass pieces on the floor. She asked us to be prudent... As we were with little kids with open shoes, we were afraid and has to insist for the floor beeing cleaned. This was a very sad Christmas evening and the biltmore crew has a very responsability for this.
