Description: One of the few remaining Miami locales offering traditional English afternoon tea, the Biltmore is arguably the most elegant venue, with its soaring vaulted ceiling, magnificent lobby and majestically mantled fireplace. The refreshing repast is served daily and is complemented with and elegant harp weekdays and music of an accomplished classical guitarist on the weekends. During the holiday season guests can expect themed pastries.Reservations are recommended.

“Perfect food, service and surroundings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2012

Talking to Predrag Starcevic, the Fontana Manager, one begins to understand the service mentality that makes Fontana such a perfect dining experience. Although the room is open also for breakfast and dinner. Dining outside in the central courtyard of the Biltmore hotel, lulled by the soothing noise of a huge fountain and surrounded by tall trees, is just part of the picture. That picture is complimented by formal but exceptionally friendly service and a kitchen that skillfully uses high quality ingredients to create perfectly cooked and presented dishes. Importantly, the kitchen is responsive to guest needs, for example preparing succulent veal with a butter lemon sauce, not the standard menu sauce. For the standard the entrees in the mid to high $20's are not unreasonably expensive. The bill includes an 18% service charge and gratuities are optional, but well deserved.

“Beautiful atmosphere, delicious breakfast - for a price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012 via mobile

Like every place on the Biltmore grounds, the prices border on extortion, but at least you get what you pay for here. We had the $25 breakfast and it was worth every penny: an incredible spread of pastries (including my favorite, pan au chocolat), fresh fruit (the good stuff, too, like red raspberries, blueberries, etc.), omelet station, and Illy coffee. The terrace dining area is tranquil and gorgeous, too.

Loved eating next to the outdoor fountain on the patio with all the beautiful palm trees and romatic lighting.

“Most beautiful hotel anywhere with the exception of Alfonso XII in Sevilla.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

Feels like you are in Spain. Beautiful. The only shame is that they always seem to have an Italian restaurant instead of having a Spanish restaurant in what is a Spanish architecture from 1926 with beautiful Sevilla-like courtyard. It is a beautiful place for lunch, dinner or a drink. I wish only that they had enough sense to open an affordable Spanish restaurant at the Biltmore. They can have both Italian and Spanish. Why not?

“Classic, historical & more”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

This is another must. Built in the 1920's Well kept. Classic food and service on the Biltmore Golf Course.
Movie stars from the Golden Age have stayed here. Was an Army Hospital during WW11. Clark Gable was a paitient here. Near Venetion Pool in the Heart of Coral Gables. Another must visit.
