“A very nice, classy lunch in a French ambiance.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

There is a very good reason to keep going back to this little gem on the Mile. Had lunch there with my wife, we had an appetizer of salad and a plate of goose liver pate, champagne pate, carrot
souffle and a tomato tart. All was excellent. The Flounder with the crab meat was very good,
ample and was accompanied by a tricolor sauce that was delicious. The dessert of the day, part of the lunch special, was a berry tart that was delicious. Service was fast and professional.
With a Kronenburg and cofffe the check, with tip included, was $63.00.Not bad for a very nice luncheon in a classy and refined ambiance.

“A taste of France in Coral Gables”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We have enjoyed both our visits to Le Provencal (since we don't live in FL the visits are regrettably seldom). The food is authentically French (but in no way pretentious), the service is pleasant, the wine list attractive, the atmosphere very comfortable.

“C'est magnifique!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

Much as we liked the old location's quaint wood interiors and loft, the new place is fresh and spacious. We had the salmon tartar appetizer, followed by pork medallions with plum sauce & polenta and duck with olives and a nice sauce. LP always has nice sides, especially their vegetable mousse in a round mold. Their mini baguettes may you forget any worries about having too much bread before your main course. Dessert was their chocolate crunch cake, the perfect ending to a great meal. The service is always top notch. I've always liked this place and heartily recommend it to anyone.

“dissappointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

Our dining experience did not add up to the awesome reviews this restaurant have received. The escargot did not taste all that great. The rack of lamb was nothing to brag about and overcooked. The duck had a good sauce but was not tender..Service was ok.

“Outstanding French on the Miracle Mile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Amazing restaurant that features authentic French dishes. Great attention to detail on the part of the Chefs and the staff. The owner is often present and helps out with the staff. The Dover Sole with Beurre Blanc was amazing.
