Description: The floor-to-ceiling rotisseries, red walls and comfy booths invite you to stay, but Pardo's Cuisine is attuned to our grab-and-go culture. A slew of delivery and takeout deals plus curbside service offers the best of both worlds: home-cooked, slow-roasted Peruvian flavor with fast-food immediacy. This Coral Gables spot is the only U.S. Outlet for the Lima-based chain that specializes in pollo a la brasa, spit-grilled chicken with crunchy skin, a moist interior and an intoxicating marinade of 14 "secret" herbs and spices that hint of cumin, paprika, annatto, soy sauce and lots of salt. Beef lovers will rejoice over lomo saltado clasico, a Peruvian stir-fry of marinated steak strips, with onions, tomatoes and soy sauce over white rice and French fries. "Pardos" is a term for Peruvians of mixed heritage, and this warm, casual eatery uses the best of Chinese, Spanish, African and native influences in its unpretentious cuisine.

“Good Chicken”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

The chicken is very good at Pardo's. They have great rotisserie chicken and there salads are pretty good as well. The place is the typical casual place nothing fancy but real good food overall. They have some pretty reasonable prices on both lunch specials and their regular menu items. Service could be a lot better, the people that where working seemed to be a bit laid back.

“Inventive, healthy food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

We had an excellent, healthy meal at Pardos: a quinoa salad full of unexpected flavours and wonderful steamed vegetables with tuna, washed down with good Argentine malbec. It was great values at $71 for three, including tip. Thoroughly recommended.

“Highly recommend!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

My husband and I live nearby and eat here all the time - it is one of our favorite places for a delicious and satisfying meal. Note: best to eat here when you've got an appetite! Our favorite dish is the pollo saltado (it's like a Peruvian stir-fried chicken with tomato, onion and a really good sauce) with cilantro rice and yuca as the sides. Their ceviche is also great to start with as an appetizer. Another plus is that the great value - dinner for 2 costs around $30, or a little more if you order wine. There are lots of trendy Peruvian restaurants in Miami offering the same dishes (and often not as tasty) for a much higher price.

“3.5 stars”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

Three stars seems too mediocre, however four seems a bit much, so I would actually give it 3.5 stars. This Peruvian restaurant is actually part of a chain in Peru and this Coral Gables local has a kind of dine in, fast food feel. They are known for their pollo a la brasa and it is soft, juicy and well marinated.

“I like this place.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

This is a real find for a quick, inexpensive and delicious meal in downtown Coral Gables. I can not speak for the whole menu as I am addicted to their roast chicken and that is the only thing I have when I go there. It is very good and has wonderful Preuvian seasoning. Great for takeout also.
