“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

This pool is part of Historic Coral Gables. It is a bit nostalgic for me to come to this pool because it was a big part of my childhood. The caves are a real treat to wade through, and lounging by this pool for the day is a bit of a unique expericence considering that it was made from a coral rock quarry and feed by the underground aqueduct.

“Wonderful setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

Visited one day during late Nov. Beautiful setting, v peaceful, hard to believe you are in the middle of Miami! Small display area with pics showing the pools usage through the years. Entry fee around $10 per adult (visitor). Extra charges for towels and sunloungers but there are some benches around which can be used for free. Small sandy area for sunbathing. Sadly some parts of the pool area (around the caves) were closed off. Water quite cold! V cool to swim thru water fall then sit up on ledge on the other side. Small cafe on site or take own food (observe rules about where food & drink can and cannot be consumed). Big, cleaning changing rooms (lockers available, cost extra). Would consider visiting again if returning to the area

“Interesting pool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

Call before you go as the pool closes for winter, and sometimes earlier if there are not enough patrons. The pool was built in the 1920s out of a rock quarry. The grounds are beautiful and it is worth a trip in the warmer months.

A place of my childhood, not your average public pool. Unique is the best word I can think of, a place to enjoy one of Miami's hot afternoons.

“Iconic Coral Gables”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

A unique icon, beautiful for events, children's birthday parties. The natural spring pool is really gorgeous and so much fun for children (the coral cave is ever popular). The only disappointment is how frequently it's closed for repairs lately. Full locker room and rest room, lifeguards, and snack shop. It can get pretty raucous on the weekends, so tourists might want to try on weekdays. Discounted entry for Gables residents.
