“Lovely historic property!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

We stayed one night at the Biltmore while in the Miami area. It was lovely! We called ahead about an early check in and they were happy to accommodate. We arrived about 1 hour before check in time and our room was not yet ready, however they graciously upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge. The front desk employees were very helpful and made us feel quite welcome. We especially enjoyed the beautiful pool area! Dinner at Fontana was outstanding as well!

My stay at the Biltmore had it all. Firstly...it's always nice to be greeted with champagne upon check-in - excellent touch. My group will stay here every year after a week long sailing race in the Caribbean. There is nothing better than returning from a grueling week of racing to a hotel like the Biltmore. Pure luxury around every corner. Amazing golf, great food, spectacular pool/spa with in house masseur. Wonderful experience all around and looking forward to my visit again next March

On check-in,when asked to deposit $ 99,made the mistake of giving it in cash rather than credit card. After that, purgatory. No room service until made clear to the hotel that payment would be made in cash on receipt of two water bottles. Only Evian was available and at $ 23 for the pair, was probably the priciest water ever drunk by this reviewer. On giving laundry, again was told to present cash before the clothes could get cleaned, until someone remembered the deposit. This shylockian attitude towards money took away the pleasure of staying in a truly fine hotel, with elegant rooms and pleasant service. Staying at the Biltmore is a bit like visiting your billionaire uncle, the lodgings are superb

Great health and fitness amenities and classes for no extra charge; fantastic pool, fitness class options, workout room, and optional spa treatments. The staff is really nice and helpful. Very nice restaurants on location; Fontana Italian, casual by pool, plus a high end option. Only a couple miles from Miracle Mile restaurants in Coral Gables and close to Merrick Park shopping.

This hotel was stunning visually (I believe a G7 Summit was actually held here). Grand but not over the top, luxurious, sumptuous, made you feel like royalty. I stayed here for a conference, and what stood out most to me besides the beautifully upkept grounds was the superior service. My friend lost her iphone charger upon checkout; Raoul the bellman actually went up to housekeeping & personally did a sweep of the room as well as the linens (cable was white) to make sure it was not missed. The hotel driver took us beyond the usual allowed distance to Walgreens to buy a replacement at an affordable price. So helpful & friendly - I cannot talk enough about the calibre of service I received during this stay.

We will most certainly return and write a review of their restaurant - for the moment, take a look at some of our photographs at the above address. The architecture is amazing and it is easy to see why so many films and events take place here - a truly historical jewel representing the best of the Mediterranean Revival style!

I was really disappointed with the bed - really uncomfortable. I didn't sleep a wink. I live in the neighborhood and we were tenting our house so we decided to stay one night.
I meant to tell someone prior to checking out but ran out of time.
