“A Classic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We have visited this hotel several times and it never disappoints! Great restaurants in addition to a huge pool, good service and nicely appointed rooms make for a great stay. Our last visit was due to needing a nice play close to the children's hospital and we weren't sure how long we would be there and they gave us lots of flexibility.

The environment is exquisite. All the staff is always ready to help you in any way you need. The gardens are beautiful and the rooms have a very elegant decoration. The pool is very nice. For business purpose, the meeting rooms are very well equipped, silent and comfortable. You can walk around the zone in a very safe suburb. Coral Gable downtown is 10 minutes away by car and there you can find nice stores and interesting restaurants.

Room Tip: Rooms looking to the pool are very nice

Green Features: The gardens are huge and beautiful. All the hotel is very clean

I attended a conference at the Biltmore Hotel and would recommend it very highly. The staff was more than courteous and helpful at all times. The hotel was extremely clean and the food was great. There were restaurants available if you did not want to leave the hotel but a shuttle into town was available free of charge if you wanted to eat elsewhere. The pool is awesome. I did not golf, but the golf course looked great. Great fitness center if desired.

Room Tip: Choice of golf course view or pool view - some with balconies

Green Features: Choice to wash towels daily or not is an option. I am not sure about any other green programs...

Hotel 2 on our holiday to Miami and the keys, great old world hotel very impressive on the drive up to it, probably if honest a little past its sell by date inside.
Appeared to be used mainly by the golfers and as a conference facility which to our advantage gave us full run of the magnificent pool and surrounding area.
A couple of issues, they appear when building many moons ago to have put no sound proofing between the rooms and connecting areas, first room 304 was dismissed after a noisy couple of hours listening to what appeared to be half the hotels staff and guests having a party in the corridor and nearby rooms, quickly got the room changed to 704 which next to the spa was a lot more quiet.
also very surprisingly there was no where to buy water or sodas etc then over the cellar bar, at least a vending machine required!.
Guys at the pool and the valet boys did a great job, used the town car service to a local restaurant with David as our driver, great young man and a credit to the Biltmore.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in May 2015 at the start of our Miami-Chicago-St Louis-Louisville-Indianapolis (for the Indy 500 race)-Key West-Charlotte Harbour trip in May 2015. It was a speculative choice, as we'd not stayed in Coral Gables before. We were not disappointed.

The hotel is easy to find from Miami airport. Take LeJeune Road south, and turn right into Anastasia Ave at the sign. This hotel is a "wow" when you first see it. I'll not spoil it here, so get ready...

Free parking is on the left, just after the hotel. The hotel lobby is another "wow", and the check in welcoming, pleasant and easy. Concierge offered us a two-minute summary of the hotel, it's history, and facilities and delivered our luggage to the room.

A very nice room (544) with a view of the front gardens, and the Little Flower Church. Comfy bed, nice bathroom with great shower (so much water, that the plug could not handle the volume).

Good elevator service. Great period art and phone aphis around the hotel.

All the time we were there, we felt a little bit "special", and we think that is what staying at a great hotel is all about.

If our review has helped you, please reward us with a "Helpful" vote - thank you.

Awesome old Italian design, yet with all the amenities of a new hotel. In Coral Gables, very near the University of Miami in a great neighborhood. Nearly a hundred years old, built as a golf resort and expanded over time. Great pool area and restaurant.

Room Tip: Request a golf course view
