One of my clients hosted a 500 person conference at the Biltmore and from a logistical perspective, it was a nightmare. The event staff was clueless and non-responsive to my client's requests. It was very frustrating and reflected poorly on my client. My $500/night staying room was so basic that it didn't even have a desk and many of the electrical outlets were not working. I had to use the ironing board as a desk...unexceptable for a luxury hotel. The only good thing about this hotel is that the lobby, courtyard and pool are beautiful.
