Great place to take clients. Very good food and my Ft Lauderdale area clients always pick this place as their favorite.

“Welcome to 1980's Country Club food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

First off you are presented with a nice but limited menu and then a waiter proceeds to read off a laundry list of specials. We are not talking one or two specials but more like 12 or 13. After the 4th or 5th I started to glaze over.

Next the Chef has a fetish for nuts. It seemed he can't cook any seafood without crusting it with some kind of nut. His choice of specials is also really odd. One was Chilean Seabass with Wasabi Pea crust and Pink Horseradish Sauce. So you get a mild piece of fish coated in spicy wasabi peas with more horseradish. For the record if you make a sauce with pink horseradish it looks like chunky pepto bismol.

Every plate is so over done its a joke. The chef's idea of grilled vegetables included a 1/2 ear of frozen corn on the cob with grill marks. We are talking the same corn on the cob you get at Golden Corral. The Chef then fills your plate with grilled fruit. Cantaloupe, and strawberries. What either has to do with seafood is beyond me but it made for a cluttered and confusing plate plus a crowded table.

What is really sad is this guy can cook but he needs to make it more simple, keep his plates and flavors cleaner and stop trying to dazzle everyone with BS. The entire restaurant makes me think this chef worked in Country Clubs or a Cruise Ship back in the 80's and he needs to visit a modern bistro and stop grilling melons.

“Wonderful Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

We live 45 minutes from Cooper City, and decided to give it a try. It's located in a large shopping center, in a store front, but don't let that confuse you. You enter into a warm pleasant dining room, with candle lite tables We had a reservation, and were seated promptly by Lori, a most gracious hostess. Don't be put off by the plain menu, because when the server came to the table she told us of 7 unusual appetizers, one more delicious sounding than the other, and 7 additional fish dishes, not your everyday fishes and 2 more meat items. We each ordered a different entree. I had the Escargot for appetizer and they were delicious in a terrific garlic sauce. We had a slight problem with the undercooked lamb chops, but when we sent them back, Lori came to our table, and made sure it was done correctly. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinners, and the dessert was scrumptious. I give La Brochette a 5 star recommendation, we will go back to enjoy more wonderful dinners.

“A neighborhood gem!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

We've been customers for over 10 years, and we're never disappointed! When we want a finer dining experience, we go to La Brochette- whether it's Valentines Day, birthdays, or anniversaries. The restaurant is a little French bistro, the service is excellent, and the food is good. The have an excellent wine list It's a lovely dining experience and we're thrilled it's still around and doing great business!
