“Very busy hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

My wife and I had two nights at the Hampton in Cocoa Beach. The high rooms give views across the rooftops of neighbouring properties to the Ocean. This Hampton has outside corridors and in windy or wet conditions can make life unpleasant. It is a very large hotel with 8 floors and as a result, it is looking slightly tired and perhaps in need of some refurbishment. There are large numbers of guests resident and as a result the breakfast area is busy, but with a large selection of food on offer for most tastes. There is a boardwalk from the hotel to the beach, which allows access onto the seashore. The hotel seemed to be used by guests while transient to and from the ocean cruise ships that dock in Port Canavaral. It is also convenient for the Cocoa Beach strip, with Kennedy Space Centre a 1/2 hours drive away.

Room Tip: High rooms give sea views

Stayed here for a quick one night work/business related stay. Super clean room, comfortable bed, very nice desk staff, and complimentary breakfast. A+ experience, I would be back to the Hampton at Cocoa for work or pleasure.

It is a bit of an older facility, but Hampton has done a great job keeping it modern and up to date.

Stayed here for one night recently while visiting Kennedy Space Center with my family because our preferred DoubleTree Cocoa Beach was not available. The staff was friendly. The room was spacious and well equipped (fridge, coffee maker and microwave). The bed was comfortable and we felt safe. It was mildly dated and worn but overall not bad for a beach hotel, definitely below usual Hampton standard though. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired, especially the bathroom. Pool was clean and well maintained and you could use that at the Courtyard next door as well (with hot tub). Easy walk to the beach, may be a bit far for those with younger children or lots to lug. Hotel stickers said it was designated as a "green" hotel. Not sure how green is defined but I did not see a singe recycling bin on site and shower head was NOT low flow. Breakfast area had nothing but styrofoam plates, cups and bowls. Breakfast was decent and had a fairly good variety of foods including real scrambled eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit as well as several cereals, pastries and a waffle maker. We'd stay here again but only for the right price, and if DoubleTree was booked.

Stayed one night while stopping to visit friends. The hotel rooms could use some updating but having said that, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast was good with hot and cold food choices. The view of the beach in just beautiful. Ask for an ocean view and stay on the third floor.

Nice area. Access to beach. Nice pool. Good breakfast buffet but get there early before all the kids wake up. You also get access to the sister hotel next door. Hotel front desk very nice. Close to winn dixie for food.

Room Tip: Clean safe area . Close to beach but not right on beach. short walk maybe 4-5 min.

I stayed here with a friend before we went on a cruise. We had booked their Fly, Stay and Cruise Package. We were picked up at the airport, taken to the hotel, then the next morning to the Port, then when we got back we were picked up and taken back to the hotel just for a few hours as our flight didn't leave till much later, then about 3 hours before are flight taken to the airport. This was a great option because it saved us from sitting at the Airport for hours. The free breakfast was really good. The ladies at the front desk were very nice. Just a short walk down a path to the beach. The roon had a nice view of the ocean on one side and a view of the port on the other.

Usually we stay in full service hotels, but last minute this was the only place available. The room was clean and well appointed, staff friendly and helpful. Internet was smoking fast. The hotel had beach access, nice breakfast in am. Great place to stay precruise. Plenty of parking, pool looked inviting.

Room Tip: Higher floors have an ocean view
