We spent the weekend in a ocean view room, nice view. Room could use update but was very clean.Plenty of room.Beach is beutiful with easy access.Restaurant food is good and fair priced.Alchohol is over priced for this place. The pools are excellent, well maintained, clean and fun for kids and adults. We spent three days there and never had to leave, everything is there.

We have been staying at this hotel (we rent the bi-level loft on the ocean) for almost 10 years now and have always had a great vacation and experience with the hotel. This hotel was previously run by Holiday Inn - as of 2010, has been acquired by International Palms. Our stay was much the same, lofts need updating, but were clean and equipped with everything we needed/wanted. Love the pool, ocean access, restaurants and all of the other amenities offered. Our 7 day vacation was great - accept for one disappointment - upon checking out and arriving home (about 4 hours after check out), we realized that we had forgotten some clothing items in a dresser. I immediately called the hotel and informed them. Was told someone would call me back the same day. I never received a call back, so the following day, I called the hotel back and spoke to security. They checked the room, lost & found and housekeeping area to see if anything had been turned in and then called me back to let me know that they were still looking and inquiring and would contact me the next day. Again, never received a call back. Phoned the hotel again (by now it's day 3 or 4 after check out) and was told that they are still looking into the matter. I have now come to the conclusion that apparently the housekeeping staff took the clothing items and never turned them into lost & found. Not sure that I would return here or refer a friend, since these are the same people cleaning your room daily while you are out - they aren't honest enough to turn in left clothing items by a hotel guest??? Time for this place to look into better (more honest) help. Also, a bit disappointed by not receiving the promised phone calls back.

Older hotel but lots of extras. Great spot for younger children - kids pool/slide/pirate ship. Two bars/restaurants...one beachside. Beautiful beach! Beach wedding we attended was planned by the hotel staff who did a nice job.

I attended a convention at this site where I enjoyed myself for the weekend, but the hotel part of experience was only satisfactory. Granted this establishment is on the beach, but the room was so muggy (AC was constantly running) that the sheets actually felt damp. The shower head (normally a pet peve of mine in hotels) did not provide enough water pressure to rinse my hair (note, I am a man with short hair, so this isn't like trying to wash some super models long, luxurious locks).

Additionally, there was no wi-fi in the room and none of us had ethernet cables. The wi-fi in the lobby apparently charge $0.20 per minute! You've got to be kidding me!

Arrived back from the north and wanted to relax before heading back to work so I booked this room through my credit card for a good price. The hotel is obviously older and in the midst of a take-over but all was well with the room. The location is stellar on the beach. Don't expect luxury but it's not bad! I'll consider staying again next time I'm in the area.

This is the worst hotel experience I have had in many years of traveling. The room was dirty and in desperate need for repair. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures advertised. The front desk manager told us parts of building were in such bad shape that sections had to be closed due to health hazard.

We checked out within hours of arrival as could not bring ourselves to spend the night and preferred to take chances of having to sleep in the rental car until we found another hotel. We are not sissy travelers and would have been OK to have a basic but clean room.
To make matters worst the hotel and Expedia have refused to refund us the week of unused hotel nights.
Do not book this hotel. If you are brave enough to give it a try - do not use Expedia as your prepaid amount will not be refunded.
