“Enjoyed the stay-and the price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

My wife and I were on vacation and stopped over at this hotel enroute to catching our cruise ship the next day at Cape Canaveral, the staff (Amber and Kristy) were extremely nice and helpful, After speaking with Kristy and her working with me, my wife and I decided to return to this hotel for another night's stay after our ship return to the port 4 days later, they arranged a shuttled to the ship and allowed me to leave my car parked at the hotel during the cruise for a very cheap rate. Upon our return from the cruise, we stayed in a suite ovelooking the ocean and enjoyed the onsight anemities (Pool, spa, wieght room, outdoor fire pit and bar) we loved the experience for the price, location, safe location, and friendly staff. We will definitely plan a return trip.

Room Tip: the suites with a balcony overlooking the ocean are nice.

I was in town for one night for a friend's wedding and had to stay here as it was extremely close to the wedding/wedding activities. After being in upstate NY the weekend before, this hotel room was an EXTREME downgrade. I wasn't aware anyone still had big boxy tv's. The bed was very springy and clearly older, and the walls were definitely paper thin. Even when we got back from the wedding around 2am, the neighbors next door were still way too loud to be able to immediately fall asleep. Not to mention walking up to the room at 2am, there were beer cans and debris EVERYWHERE leading up to the rooms. Shower needs a desperate upgrade and the "shampoo" more closely resembled dollar store liquid soap. The one saving grace is the amazing location (right on the beach) and cute little hammocks and walking trails along the property. All in all, it was a very neutral experience. Definitely won't be back for just a getaway by choice.

Let me start off with a positive! The location of the hotel was great, and steps to the beach. Other positives, uh uh uh...none!

Dingy, out of date hotel. Maybe if you get a remodeled room it's better, but we did not. Had to change location from the first room as the bathtub didn't drain when shower was turned on. Second room was better, but not great, and sleep was hard to come by as the walls are paper thin and can hear every single noise outside.

You get what you pay for - I did this through Hotwire and paid $50/night, but in hindsight would have spent 3 times that to stay in a better place.

Steps from the Atlantic, fun things to do at the resort on their promenade. Staff is caring. Some rooms I heard need some remodeling but I understand they are working on that.. We were fortunate to stay in a remodeled room and enjoyed our two night stay. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms closer to the ocean.

We recently stayed here prior to taking a cruise and couldn't have asked for a better location, beautiful beach with very minimal shells and pebbles
.
We stayed in a loft suite just steps away from the beach access, the suite is very spacious with a king bed and double bed upstairs with a full bath. Downstairs you have a sitting area ,with a dining area and a kitchenette. Altho we did not use the kitchenette other than the fridge it seemed adequate for an extended stay minus an oven.

Our tv in the living area did not work and that was the only downfall to the room, but we were not around a lot to watch it , and there was a tv in the upstairs area, the loft is open so there is no privacy for the beds so if you are going with friends, it could be a bit awkward lol But for a family it worked out great.

The pool area was nice, our 6 yr old daughter enjoyed the kid's pirate water area, I enjoyed the pool, it was a perfect temperature after spending the day at the beach. Do not miss going to the beach...it is truly the best part of the hotel!!

Room Tip: Go for a loft room, you will welcome the space!

It was a nice place to stay, however I was only at the hotel one night to be at Kennedy Space Center the next day! Hotel is a bit run down and need of a remodel! Beach and the friendly staff at the beach bar were next door.

Room Tip: Quiet in the building near the beach! Outside beach bar close by!

Great ocean view suite for a great price, decided to stay another day. Thanks to Kristy at the front desk. Had great food at Mombo's along with live Reggae music. Perfect sunrise room with private balcony and kitchenette. Going to enjoy the beach with private access from hotel.
