This hotel was perfect. My family stayed at this hotel from June 30 until July 5, 2008.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were really happy and pleased. The lobby was so colorful and clean.

The staff was oh so friendly, and eager to help us.

The pools were wonderful. The adult pool is an olympic sized one that is really clean and huge. The childrens pool with the pirate ships is amazing and safe for children.

The entire hotel property is clean, safe, quiet. There is security riding around a lot on a golf cart.

There are more than one resturant with great cheap food.

All in all, a great, first class place.

I am really happy I took my family to this hotel.

I would have to agree with most of the reviews of this hotel: totally outdated rooms that were not the cleanest, and certainly not worth the price, especially the "Family Suite" that we stayed in. I'm sure the Hilton or the Cocoa Beach Resort would have been much nicer, but I have to say, our 4-year old son LOVED the pool, the Pirate kiddie pool, and the beach. That made it all worth it in the end.

We spent two nights and had an enjoyable stay. We had the kids suite room, which consisted of a king bed and then alittle sperate area for the kids. I called it a club house, it was real cute.
The kids loved it. The room was alittle small, but it was clean.

All employees we interacted with were very friendly and courteous. The pool was wonderful. The kiddie pool was a great place for them to play. The beach was very easy to access.

The restaurant on property is called the Captains Grill. Kids eat free and the food was good!

Everything was open until 11pm. Which is great. I have been to hotels where you can't go swimming after 8. They also have tennis courts and shuffleboard.

This hotel is definitly a place to stay. Had no problems.

We have just returned from a two night stay in Cocoa Beach. The travel agency that book this hotel for us told us that It was a nice, clean hotel. Nonetheless, they must be blind, supid, or have never been to this place.

This MOTEL is soooo old, dirty, and the rooms smells. The beds are so low to the floor until they look like they are literally sitting on the floor. The carpet is nasty and the room smells moldy as if it has not been cleaned in years. This MOTEL need a major overhaul. It needs to be torn down and rebuilt again in order for it to come up to today standards. When we got ready to check in, we told the receptionist that we would like a clean room that does not smell. She said "I hope that all of our rooms are clean. Either she is blind and stupid or she does not go into the rooms.

They showed us two rooms. They both were the same. The room closest to the pool- when you go up the stair way has water running down it. I told the receptionist about this, it is an accident waiting to happen. The receptionist didn't appear to have any concern about all the water running down the stair way. I figured they were used to this. As I could tell this is something that occurs everyday.

There are some people who likes to stay in dumpy places, but I don't. So If you like a nasty, smelly, dumpy MOTEL this is the place for you. Otherwise, STAY AWAY.

We did not stay at this MOTEL. There was no way that I would risk staying at a place that is sooooo NASTY. We went down the street and stayed at the QUALITY SUITES HOTEL. The rooms are much, much cleaner and nicer than the Holiday Inn Oceanfront. And get this we paid a lesser rate at Quality Suites, it was only $69 a night and you get a nice clean, large suite with a livingroom area, wireless internet, and breakfast.

Try to get these amenities at Holiday Inn Oceanfront, you won't because they don't have them. Holiday Inn Oceanfront just don't compare to many of the Hotels that I have stayed at. It is a disgrace that It has the name Holiday Inn. I've stay at many Holiday Inns, but none like the one in Cocoa Beach Florida. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE.

The Holiday Inn at Cocoa Beach last saw its prime some 50 years ago. A run down establishment that is hard pressed to keep up with the ravages of time and neglect. The staff told us this is their last season and the whole place is coming down - not too hard to believe. Stayed three nights for an on-site wedding and moved on to nicer hotel in the area. If you have kids, are on a tight budget, don't care about the shabby rooms and need to be on the beach it will do. Otherwise savvy travelers should avoid this place like the plauge. Unfortunately the roaches and bed bugs that members of our party encountered loved the place.
