This 1950's 27-acre resort has some history! My husband and I went for a relaxing, romantic trip and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful beach @ Cocoa Beach - you can stay at the resort & have everything you need. Great food at 2 restaurants, wonderful big heated pool and hot tub. The rooms have recently been renovated and are adequate. The service was excellent and staff friendly around the property. The landscaping is beautiful! There's a big basketball court, tennis court, shuffleboard, corn hole, beach chairs for rent, and a fun pirate themed kiddie pool area. Nearby is Kennedy Space Center. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to return some time w/our family.

I would choose this location again for my next Cocoa Beach vacation. I did not have one complaint. The location to the beach was outstanding and the grounds were clean with beautiful, old growt, native vegetation.

My cruise ship sailed while I was in the Emergency Room of Cape Canaveral Hospital. Being stranded in Florida with only a cabin key, medical card and a cellphone that needed a charge was traumatic. Housing was provided for me at International Palms Resort and Conference Center in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Fortunately, the staff and security were very considerate and accomodating in many ways, including faxing, transportation on the grounds and use of a cell phone charger. Chief among them were Caty and Derek. I would like to say to the staff at the International Palms in Cocoa Beach, "Thank you for easing my ordeal as arrangements were made to return to Philadelphia!"

We were only here for one night and that was long enough. I loved the layout of the family suite since we were traveling with our son however the room seemed like it needed updating and a major cleaning. I was able to brush that off since it is a beach hotel however the next morning really put me over the edge. We went to walk down to the beach after a mediocre overpriced breakfast (our server was very pleasant however)and arrived back to our room at 11:15 only to discover we were locked out with all of our belongings inside. We were ready to leave but instead, had to walk to the front desk to have our room unlocked. After an attitude fm the manger on duty himself, my husband returned to our room only to find out the door was still locked! Thankfully a HELPFUL worker was walking by and unlocked it for us. I am FAR from someone who complains but felt it necessary to explain to the supervisor at the front desk that this "policy" is not necessary and only makes people upset. If your "policy" is locking people out of the room that they PAID for, you should give them a window of a 1/2 hour or warn them. Instead I was told that I signed paperwork at check-in stating same with an "oh-well" type of attitude. I will never return here based on this experience and I would NEVER conduct any type of customer service in this manner! Thankfully the Wyndham that we stayed in the following night exceeded my expectations and was $10 less per night!
