“outstanding value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2010

We wanted to sit outside but it was too windy. The interior is just OK, but we weren't eating the ambiance. We ate seafood, and it was very good, extremely good for the price. The New England clam chowder was the best I've had. Simply outstanding.

Rock shrimp, a local favorite, was very good.

Service was fast, attentive and friendly.

“Good value for what you got, not the greatest food though”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2010

We stopped by on the recommendation of a friend and sat outside. The first thing that we noticed was that the outside looks very run down so you expect a laid back beachy vibe but when you come inside you'd feel underdressed in your beach clothes, and then you go out to the back and there are plastic tables and chairs again? It seems like they cant figure out if they want to be a laid back beach spot or an upscale restaurant. The service was good and the amount of food we got for the money was good. We got the early bird special which included corn fritters, a meal choice, soup or salad bar, soft drinks, and dessert. The food itself was okay. The corn fritters were good, but most of the food was pretty bland. The other menu options sounded like they may taste better but were just far too expensive for this location. I would recommend it, but I'd let them know to get there early and be prepared to use some salt and pepper. Grill's Tiki Bar is where we usually are on a Saturday night and it's not far from here and the food and prices are much much better. I don't think I'd make the switch to going here on a regular basis.

“Eat here at sunset but eat outside.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2010

Must try the lobster bisque and hushpuppies. The coconut shrimp is also great.
Don't go if it is raining as you must plan to eat outside the interior smells. (Old fish!!!! ick) But do go and have the bisque. They have great earlier eater prices before 6pm so go early otherwise it is pricy.
This is from a Minnesota gal who has been here 3 times in the last 6 months.

2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2010 via mobile

Ate here after traveling, place was highly reccomended, however service was beyond slow, waitress told us I will be right with you four times before she took our drink order. All seafood was overcooked and bland. Our 8 year old daughter wouldn't even eat her chicken strips-how do you screw those up?!!
