I ate at Sunset after reading reviews on this site, and was very disappointed. I ordered the fried seafood platter. All seafood was fresh, but the preparation was lacking. The shrimp were so overcooked they were rubbery, and the breading lacked any kind of seasoning (even salt). When I brought this to my waitress's attention, she said she would "tell the kitchen" but didn't do anything to improve my meal. Side items were wholly unimpressive. The apple fritters were good, though.
Eat here twice during a 6 day tip to Cocoa Beach. Food was excellent. Steak with the side of shrimp was the best meal we had during a 3 week trip to the US. Location is excellent and wait for it you can even walk there from some of the hotels on the beach Fully recommend great view,great food, great beer, great service !!
My family eats here every February vacation we stay. I love the view of the sunset and the live music performances. Very nice place! You can either inside or outside on the deck .....
We stopped in for lunch at the Sunset Cafe on a whim, because we liked the waterfront location and what a treat we had!
The food was very tasty and the service exceptional - our waiter (Chris) was truly one of the most helpful and friendly servers I've been served by in a restaurant. The highlight of the meal for me though was the arrival of a dolphin, who began playing out in the water almost directly in front of our table! This dolphin must have liked the Sunset Cafe as much as we did, because he was there almost the entire hour and half that we were there having lunch.
We really had the most pleasant, relaxing lunch and our visit to the Sunset Cafe was one of the highlights of our stay at Cocoa Beach!
