“Filthy Dirty”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2014 via mobile

I stayed here for one night Easter weekend and could not sleep all night because when I went to lay down on the bed I started itching! The floors were sandy, and the bathroom was really, really dirty. The room also smelled really bad of mildew and there were cockroaches in the refrigerator. This place could use a good cleaning. I will never stay here again and you should stay away!!!

Dont normally write reviews! But As an ex travel agent i feel compelled to write a review on Fawlty towers motel
Me & my partner have just got back from a Florida road trip & this was the best place we stayed by far! As we arrived from a long drive we were greeted on reception by Chris whos a really friendly guy hes the owners son & Fawlty towers has an inviting family feeling as soon as you walk in. Checked in quickly and smoothly to find a beautiful spacious spotless room with a balcony not forgetting the great aircon & more views over the tropical pool area! Drinks in the Tiki bar were next next to the tropical pool area a bud low priced at only $3 for a bottle. Chris also served in the bar a nice atmosphere. This is where we met Terry the owner such a great lady gave us loads of info about the area even Terrys daughter told us about a fab thai restaurant which we dined in & loved! Felt so relaxed staying here wont forget the big comfy bed warm welcomes big smiles and the sun shining on fawlty towers tropical pool! Thanks Guys we will prob see u again this year as we are planning another visit! Big hugs your New English pals Lauren and David Derby U.K xxx

This year was a sad time for me as it was the last wish for my partner Steve to have his ashes scattered in his favorite place of Cocoa Beach.

Everyone at Fawlty Towers made it so special for me. All were and are exceptionally friendly people and staff.

The rooms are of the highest quality with outstanding cleanliness. I would throughly recommend the motel to all my friends and family.

Once again outstanding.

Rooms are definitely outdated, but building is in a great location. Bathrooms are very small. Courtyard with pool and tiki bar was nice. Employees were very friendly. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beaches, etc.

I was extremely upset with the customer service that I had received at the Fawlty Towers Motel.
I had stayed Friday and Saturday Feb12-13th, as all the other hotels were booked up and much more expensive. We enjoyed ourselves by the pool, which was clean and tropical. The room was okay, but certainly needs updating...the floors were extremely dirty. I had socks on and just walking around the room, the bottoms became filthy black. The bathroom are very small as well.
I had paid for the two nights, and on the Sunday I had family coming to Cocoa Beach. Which I was not aware of until later that morning. I had called the front desk in the morning to reserve my room again, which was no problem to book. I paid for it shortly later.

We went to the beach for the morning, and came back to the room, which the maid did up.
We had found out that our family members were coming to Cocoa Beach to visit and they had booked us a room at the Comfort Inn.

We didn't use the room at all from that point, not even a shower, as we were not even provided towels.
I went to the lobby in the early afternoon, no one was there, so I rang the buzzer, but no one came. So I left and returned around 5. The owner had left for the day and I wanted to ask for a refund, seeing that we did not use the room at all and we were going to be staying with family at another place. The girl at the front had to call the owner on the phone, who refused to refund us for the night. I asked the girl if she could call the owner back, as I would like to speak with her. The owner actually refused to speak with me!!!
I could not believe it! We packed up our things, called my credit card company and cancelled the transaction.
I will NEVER go back to this place! I was shocked that they would not refund based on my situation to stay with my family members.

Horribly Customer service!!!!!!

Room Tip: Go stay at the Comfort in down the street! Night and Day difference

We loved this motel , it was clean and in a great location .2minutes from the beach and right next door to Ron Jons. The room we had was ground floor and had a sliding door right onto the garden, pool and Tiki Bar. Terry was friendly and we spent a great night in the bar.
