Three of us went for dinner recently, and we had a great time! The restaurant is in a converted house. As you enter, there is a stately bar which proudly displays an impressive selection of single malt scotch, cognac, and exotic spirits. The wine list is also quite impressive, and the wine by the glass list has plenty to offer. The girls started with Mango Margheritas. We had an appetizer of lobster tail w/ water chestnuts wrapped in bacon served on a bed of the most delicious seafoos sauce.
I had the house salad, the girls had a portabello salad, and a hearts of palm salad. All were laced with tasty homemade dressings.
For our entrees, we had seared tuna w/ a wasabi cream, cobia w/ a lime caper sauce, and a beautiful veal chop w/ a red pepper coulis.
Service was friendly and efficient, and they serve to entrees covered w/ classic clouche covers. Once all the covered entrees are placed in front of everyone, another server helps to unveil the entrees all at the same time, which adds drama to the whole experience.
Desserts were creative, and they had a soft pianist playing society music off to the side.
All in all, I thought I was in Palm Beach instead of Cocoa Beach!
