Unfortunately, Gin-Seng, which was excellent, had a fire last year, but they have a sister restaurant in Cocoa Beach , the Yen Yen Chinese Restaurant, [-], which is also excellent!

For a gourmet treat , try the Snow White Prawn, incredible taste!

Yen Yen is noted for its Duck Specialty, one needs to call and ask about specifics for that.

We have just moved to the area and had heard and read that the snow white prawns at Yen Yen's are excellent. We have had them 3 times in the last 2 months and love them! We have tried a number of other dishes there, and while everything has been good, nothing else is all that special. Definitely get them if you're going.

Wasn't expecting Chinese food of this quality in a beach area.

I had read/heard so many good things about this place, we had to try it. We must have gone on an off day, because I was very disappointed. The first thing that greeted us was a bad smell...like mold, mildew or just something stale. The decor is very old fashioned and fussy and I found myself wondering if it has mildewed. The smell didn't dissipate as we dined, so it must be pervasive.

We were there at noon on a Saturday when crowds were headed to the beach and Cocoa Beach was hopping. But there was only one party there when we arrived, and no one else came in during the hour we were there. So, only two parties dining at noon on a sunny summer Saturday. Odd.

The food was only okay. Nothing too exciting.

I'm not sure what to make of our disappointing experience vs. the hype about this place. Maybe it has recently gone under new management or ownership? Or maybe they have gotten complacent? I probably won't be trying it again, with all the other "to try" places on my list.
