This restaurant is no longer Bernard's--it's called The Surf--confusing because it's at the same location and the sign outdoors is misleading.
We went there on the basis of reviews found here on tripadvisor and were expecting a wonderfu meal. Sadly, we were very disappointed, and it's not an inexpensive restaurant.
They still make the tableside Caesar salad, and that was excellent. However my pompano was dry and tasteless, and my companion's grouper was awful.
Also the service was incredibly slow, which was pretty amazing considering there were only three tables occupied at the time we were there.
I didn't see any indication of early bird specials, nor could I find the "casual" side of the restaurant mentioned in other reviews.
My advice is to drive up the road a few miles to Titusville and eat at Dixie Crossroads. We ate there twice and had fabulous meals each time.
