“Cocoa Beach Courtyard - a great place to stay before a cruise!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

We stayed at the Courtyard before our Carnival Cruise, and with only a couple of blips, it was a great place to stay!

Our pre-cruise stay was in adjoining rooms with friends we were traveling with, and they were comfortable, quiet, and well suited to resting. The Hotel was also quite accommodating in letting us have replacement credit cards shipped to them after fraud was discovered on our account just days before our trip! As accomodating as they were, this was blip one. The mail goes to the Hawthorne Suites across the parking lot, and our mail almost got lost.. but eventaully they found it!

Post Cruise we were only staying one night, with one friend leaving VERY early in the morning, so we opted for one room, and got a HUGE corner room that had a great view of the ocean and the cruise port. We even watch our ship sail away without us!
Unfortunatly, this was blip 2, as they accidentially canceled the wrong rate room when we decided to go down to 1 room, and could not giver us the cheaper rate. In the end it wasn't a big deal, but review should be honest right?

While this hotel doesn't have a shuttle to the port, it is still a great place to stay, close to Ron Johns, and LOTS of food (and even a close Wal-Mart). We WILL Stay again!

Room Tip: Rooms on the North East Corner have a great view of the Coast!

Our company recently had a performance engagement with the Brevard Symphony in Melbourne, FL, and we had the bonus experience of being guests at the Courtyard Cocoa Beach. It was just a short drive away, and our lodging just made the whole experience very special. The facilities are well maintained, and the location is just off the beach with a very short pathway to the surf. Everything you'd expect and need were right there, including dependable internet connection and a choice of breakfast options in the morning from a full plate to our preference of fresh muffins and Starbucks coffee. We travel every week, and what sets the Courtyard Cocoa Beach apart from most of our lodging experiences is the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. No one was ever too busy to address our every need and special requests. The staff was absolutely dedicated to making us feel right at home and their one-on-one attention was exceptional and genuine. It is a very busy hotel, but each guest is treated with individual attention beyond expectations.

Recently had my wedding in Cocoa beach , the folks at this hotel were beyond nice. My friends and i booked about 20 rooms and everyone was very pleased . Nice pool , firepit , and starbucks coffee in the lobby! Everyone made us feel like we were the only guests in this very busy hotel. Beach and pool only steps away. Would like to thank Kimmarie , Kim, Tiela , Tina , Justine , Rick, Lauren and Maria in the sales and marketing dept. The three housekeepers kept our ocean view room looking and feeling great !
Would have no hesitation recommending this way above average Courtyard and plan on staying here again soon!

Went there this weekend for a one night stay. This is not a 5 star hotel, but I knew that before booking the room, so I will not complain about lack of 5 star quality. The room was clean and fresh smelling. It was not fancy, but had all the normal amenities like a desk, mini-fridge, chair, etc. The water pressure was good in the shower with plenty of hot water. The beds (to me) were a bit uncomfortable as they were very firm. There were lots of pillows. The room also had a High Def flat screen by Samsung that came in really good and with Hi Def channels - LOL!

I knew this hotel was not right on the beach, but a short walk to it (100-150 yards and you didn't have to cross the street) which was not a big deal to me. Had a nice view from the balcony (7th floor) of the Indian River waterway. The hotel is centrally located and a short walk or short ride to all the Cocoa Beach has to offer.

I was actually quite surprised at how nice the lobby was. They also have a Starbucks in the middle of the lobby/lounge area and it served as a gathering place at night to socialize with others staying here. There were a couple of TV's also to enjoy. It was nice to see many folks there enjoying the relaxed atmosphere in this lounge area. They did not charge for parking, which annoyingly some hotels are starting to do.

The kidney shaped pool was a little bit bigger than a normal hotel pool and was clean.

The check-in and check-out went very smoothly and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I would stay here again and I think it was priced accordingly for the area and what you get. If you don't mind that it is not right on the beach, you should be happy.

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor for a better view.

Courtyard was sufficient. The guest rooms do need some updating. The showers were older and tub did not drain extremely well. Balcony with every room was a plus. we stayed on the 5th floor with a view of the ocean. That was very beautiful. Access path to the beach was a short walk. Although, there was a lot of lush plants. I would not want to walk through there at night. Looks like a great place for snakes and such. You are able to rent chairs and umbrellas at the beach access path and they can be charged to your room. Hotel towels are allowed to be taken to the beach also. Air conditioner unit was aged kept room too cold and was noisy.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor in the odd numbers for views of the ocean.

We stayed at the Courtyard Cocoa Beach Marriott the night before our Disney Dream cruise. They have a package that includes a night's stay as well as round trip transportation to the cruise port and parking for your car while you are on your cruise. As usual the room and all other areas of the hotel were clean and the staff was courteous. The mineral pool was also a great addition since my wife doesn't like chlorine pools. The hotel isn't oceanfront but is only a short walk to the beach.

I stayed five nights at this hotel from 15 - 20 September, 2013. The hotel is in the heart of Cocoa Beach on A1A. It's clean, has very nice rooms with refrigerators, has a nice lounge with bar and restaurant, and has access to the beach (a couple of minute walk). The staff is very friendly. North facing rooms have a balcony, south facing rooms overlook the pool.

The rooms were modern, very clean and comfortable. There is ample parking, computer access, wifi, and there's an ATM in the lobby. I probably would have liked it slightly better if it was directly on the beach but it's still a very good place to stay. There's a small fitness center but I didn't use it (ran on the beach instead).

If you're going to Cocoa Beach for business or pleasure, this would be a very decent place to stay. Not sure of the prices...I was on government business so paid the $99.00 per night government per diem rate plus taxes.

Room Tip: It's probably a little quieter in the north-facing rooms since the south-facing rooms overlook t...
