“Great experience, Great people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

The first thing I liked was that you don't pay until the end of the tour. We were only able to complete about half the tour because of lightning and were only charged half price. I am glad to know there are still honest small business owners out there. As for the tour itself my wife, 4 year old, 6 year old, and myself had a great time. We got to see several birds and a pod of apx 6 manatees that swam right up to our boat and even under the boat. One even splashed everyone on the boat. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

“What a great time I had with my family on this informative Eco tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013 via mobile

The staff and boat ate just awesome. They are very accommodating to the needs of every age group. We spent 20 minutes just sitting quietly in the water while a beautiful manatee just swam curiously all around the boat. It was surreal and all enjoyed themselves. By far my number one favorite activity in Cocoa Beach. I have taken this tour twice now and I will every time we return for vacation. This is a must do with your family when visiting the Space Coast.

“Close encounters with Manatee, Dolphins, wildlife”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

We found this tour by a simple Google search, and can say we got lucky. Had a great time. There were only 10 people (which included the 2 crew) on our trip, so we had a great deal of room to move around. An iced cooler of refreshments is included with the price as are numerous binoculars for your use. There is indeed a restroom on board, but would recommend you use the facilities located at the dock JUST BEFORE boarding, as you may be uncomfortable descending and then using the restroom in the middle of the boat with everyone around. It's covered and private; just not the optimal situation. But at least it's there if needed.
We saw numerous manatee, numerous dolphins, and a good variety of birds. This boat/captain are unique in that it's not an oversize "cattle-boat" with large groups of people, and the captain will certainly stop and allow the manatee to safely swim around and right up against your boat if they so choose to do so. This means you will get the very best chance of a close encounter with the manatee, and we had that opportunity multiple times. One of those large-scale cattle-boat tours passed us and I could see the passengers were really only taking a boat ride, not an encounter with the animals which is what everyone wants, because those larger boats don't stop. We actually got to stop, watch, listen and learn how a dolphin would herd baitfish up against a land wall, then swim up and down that wall feeding, occasionally jumping out of the water to catch the baitfish that were themselves going airborne to escape the dolphin.
Some tips: Yes....you DO want to call to confirm your reservation and that the trip is still on a day or so before scheduled. This is clearly stated on their website. Secondly, when you arrive at the "address" of this tour given by MapQuest, etc, you will be surprised to find it's just a local park with a boat ramp: there is no business-front or building. Don't fear! There is a dock running the length of the park and the tour boat will be seen coming down the channel 15 minutes before your departure time to load everyone up. Finally, to repeat again, you may want to use the restroom facilities on land BEFORE you actually take off.
This was definitely a great experience, we got numerous pictures of the wildlife, and the crew were a pleasure to have as our guides. You can tell they love the outdoors and the wildlife as much or more than their passengers. We would definitely do this again.

“Really enjoyed this tour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Great guides, very nice & knowledgeable as others have said. We saw plenty of manatees and various birds. We even saw dolphins hunting fish. The boat was clean and comfortable even though the tour was filled to capacity (about 18 people) - so - a little crowed, but not bad at all! This tour was very comfortable, interesting, and very affordable. It's very convenient to Cocoa Beach too!
