On a night we could not decide where to go out, I turned to my trusty Trip Advisor for help and found this little place to be number 3 in our town. It is located in what used to be an old Mr. Donut-very small and had been several failed restaurants since its Mr. Donut days. We called to see if they could accomodate our vegetarian daughter and we were off. The chef came to the table to see what type of dinner my daughter would want (she chose a pasta primavera with lots of fresh veggies) and my husband and I ordered off the menu both choosing the mahi. We started with asparagus bisque which my husband was not interested in until I gave him a taste of mine. Fresh flavor, creamy texture made this soup a winner. Our mahi was pan fried and topped with a mixture of fresh tomato, pine nuts, lots of garlic and fresh herbs, it came with sauteed fresh spinach and saffron potatoes. The flavors were so wonderful. I kept using bits of my potato to soak up the sauce from the fish. My spouse did not want the spinach and was offered a choice of broccoli or asparagus instead. We topped off our dinners with desserts. I had a ginger spice creme brulee, my daughter a piece of apple pie and my husband tried the chocolate lava cake with winter spices (cinnamon, cardamom and one I cannot recall). Let's just say the plates were all but licked clean. Can't wait to return here on a regular basis as the dinner menu changes every few days "in tune with whatever fresh ingredients we are able to find" said our hostess Amanda. Because it is so small, it is perfect for a date night.
