Each meal is served on a family-size platter, so some sharing might be in order. My wife liked their rice, but I'd give it a miss next time. We both agreed the re-fried beans were completely tasteless -- out of a can from Publix is much better. I'd definitely go for the black beans over the re-fried beans. Still, the place seems to have potential. I want to experiment with the menu a little before I write this place off.
The interior is somewhat interesting, with hand-carved wood booths. And the Dos Equis amber on tap was ice cold. So was the A/C -- even with a jacket my wife was complaining and my arm ached from resting on the table top.
