“Great food, atmosphere and service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

This is my favorite place to eat when I am passing through Clermont. The food is fabulous as is the staff and atmosphere. On some nights they even have a Mexican band that plays live music. Very cool and very reasonably priced!

“Great food and atmospher”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Great food... Very authentic large portions. If you like mexican food you have to try this place! Everyone that works there is friendly. Salsa and chips are great and the main course items are excellent... The California Buritto is my favorite!

“WORST PLACE I HAVE EVERY BEEN.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

I have been in restaurant business for over ten years. This was the worst service I have every had. Spoke to the manger he said that he was his best servicer. If that's the case you wont be in business much longer. You suck!!! And Im being nice!!!!!! You couldn't pay me to go there again.

“Best Mexican In Our Area - But....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

This is probably the best Mexican restaurant in our area, but I wonder if you might want to travel further for something a little tastier or at least think about alternative menu items instead of your standard favorites. We were here on a Sunday night, large crowd, but seated quickly. For over 15 minutes we did not see our server; there were LOTS of servers moving quickly in all directions, but our server had to be summoned from the back by the hostess we flagged down and asked if we could see a server. We had been given menus when we came in, so at least we did know what we wanted to order. The menu is large with many selections, fairly priced. Our server finally arrived and took our order; the hostess then came with chips and house salsa. The salsa is not that good - does not have fresh chunks of tomato or herbs, appears to be a pureed thicker sauce out of a can with a "tinny" flavor. Chips were OK, not warm like some places we have visited. Our meals came quickly; generous and attractive. My taco was full of very lean, finely ground beef with no sauce or chopped tomatoes on top; there was a generous amount of white shredded cheese and a couple of thin, soft strips of lettuce. Shell was crisp. The enchiladas were large with more of the dry finely ground beef rolled up in a thick, soft tortilla. There was no sauce or onion or anything else inside. It was covered with an orange sauce that tasted very much like the canned sauce available in grocery stores. There were a few shreds of cheese sprinkled on the top. My husbands burrito was large and filled with the same dry powdered ground beef and finished off just like the enchilada. The yellow rice that came with my meal was generous, but again, dry and no flavor. The best tasting item was the re-fried beans that came with my husbands meal. When we were finished, it took forever to find someone to track down our server who finally came with the check. The Mariachi 4 piece band was a pleasant and talented surprise. The atmosphere was festive and everyone that greeted us was very pleasant. The interior was clean and held many more people than you would think from looking at the outside. There is lots of parking very near by.

We will try this place again when we get a craving for Mexican food; we will order differently - perhaps the cheese dip instead of the salsa, and order a dish that has the beans instead of the rice and ask for tacos supreme or something that has a moister, more flavorful filling.

“Just average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

Had lunch here yesterday. Salsa was plain, nothing spectacular. Rice was OK, beans were good, but extremely salty. Enchilada was OK, steak was pretty good. My husband had their pork verde and it was tender and very good. So out of all that food, the meats were the best. Service was OK, not warm at all. I would not return to this little family chain.
