We stayed in a harbor view room on the 8th floor for a week in July. Although there is a busy road outside we were never bothered by any traffic noise.

The harbor view is really nice, you can sit and watch all the boat traffic coming and going.

The hotel trades on its location and has a private stretch of beach where you can only consume drinks & snacks purchased from the hotel.

We went to Busch Gardens a couple of times with the trip taking around 30 minutes each way.

You shouldn't limit yourself to the hotel beach & bar / restaurants as there are some nice places to visit just along the road that wont charge the same premium.

Another nice place to visit is bradenton beach which is around an hour and a half to the South.

We came here after our Disney Cruise for a couple days and it was pretty enjoyable way to wind down the vacation. The pool scene was fun and the marina across the street offered several things to do. Fishing excursions, speed boats, pirate cruises, etc.
The room was nice and spacious and the view we had was really nice....we had a view of the ocean and the marina. (we were on the top floor) The beds were very comfortable and appeared to be newly remodeled.
Room service was efficient, quick and friendly.
Maid service was good.
The bellmen/concierge were very good with offering dinner recommendations and excursion ideas.
The restaurant at the pool was very steep. 3 hot dogs and a hamburger with 4 soft drinks was $42. (and 2 of the hot dogs were kids meals!)
Over all it was a nice stay. No complaints.

This hotel has a great location and nice pool area, although it is in need of renovations. Great hotel for convention- our group had a nice set-up in the main ballrooms. I would probably not return to this hotel outside of a convention.

the check in staff is great and efficient, the hotel is well located, beautiful,. very clean and organized. We had no problems with our 2 nights stay. The only thing that we did not like was the food. I was surprised to see a category five hotel with so few options food wise. the restaurant could have more options. we are used to Hilton hotels and especially the categories 4 and 5 and never had this problem where we had to try to find something to eat. we were sure that been in a great hotel we would not have problems find great dishes and plenty of options for us and our girls. it's easier to eat in the hotel when we have little ones. We don't mind paying more expensive food in the hotel but we expect to be satisfied with our choices.

That would be my only complaint/suggestion; improve the menus, have better and more options for lunch and dinner.

Thanks,
Antonio Diaz

There are nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The rooms were fresh and clean, the lobby was attractive, very friendly staff and it's in a great lcoation.
You can walk to everything. Save money by getting everything off the hotel ie: all meals, umbrellas, beach chairs, booze, everything. It's all in walking distance. Go to the Marina for your jet ski, it's a great expierence and they give you docking time to swim.
Take the late flight home, if the changing room is being used in the hotel, they will give you complimentary passes to Eagle Fitness to shower and change there.
This is a great location for family, couples, weekend get-aways and girl trips (it's a nice alternative from Miami). I shall be returning.
